OOOOhh I will be sure to play this. I am sure you are aware that an hour is a scary number! I hope you are not disheartened at this stage.

The parts I have seen in the past are AMAZING, so I am sure I will enjoy it all. Looking forward to it!

Duuuude. This is epic. I paused it so I could type as I play, because DANG! This is amazing. The detail is redonculous as is the gameplay and story. The boat hasn't started to sink yet but I'm zoo looking forward to what you have in store for me!

Anyway, a weird thing is it says I may need a Move controller. Also I think that your hub is a little misleading, because it says 1 hour long without mentioning it is a chaptered epic. Personally I would update the description to say something like 1 hour of gameplay spanned over X number of chapters... getting rid of the 1 hour in the title. Also it would be a good idea to remind people that they may need to switch on the get community objects for the full experience.

The first time you see a sackbot it is a little off putting as I thought hmmm maybe the costume is wrong, some sackbots in the first chapter moving boxes may make it more obvious that they are workers. It's not a big gripe but it did take me out of the story for a split second.

There is a typo I noticed... 'Sackthing get the electricity through the path to restart the engine"

I do look a little out of place onboard though

Ok, played even more of this... and I have to say, that I am NOT digging the cat. The whole move section seems a lot newer and less tested. In fact the reason this is a secondary post is because I have been trying to clear this section since the last time I posted. An hour ago. I really hate that cat.

First up is there an option to skip this section for non-Move owners?

It starts well but as it progresses it gets quite sadistic, overly so the jumping sections are extremely unforgiving and the checkpoint spacing is harsh. One section has you respawining in the air with a row of spikes in the direction you want to head in.

you get past this bit only to be shot along a rather clever section of camera/gravity, but the final part that is supposed to launch you out if the section continually throws you into more spikes.

It's very, very hard. The music which starts of fine becomes almost torture as it loops and seems overly loud. I finally get to the cat and wow... I have no idea if I took a wrong turn at a level link and ended up in some bizaro level. The attack patterns are all clever and varied, but go on for too long and there is too long a pause between sections. And it's really hard to see where to use the grapple hook, and then it loops three times. I was very tired of it by that time.

The next section looks awesome and is back on theme I get to sail the boat WOOT!, but I'm pretty tired so I just thought I would crash it and then come back later... 140 icebergs later I am starting to think that the Titanic is indeed unsinkable. I will re-play this section but it did seem like it also goes on for too long, as in it takes too long to get up to speed, too long to get to multipliers and too long to die.

Anyway so far I am really impressed, I honestly think that the cat section is not needed (it's super hard and not really themed well) and the boat part could be cooler if you had to stay on a path and you get points for that, you loose points for straying out of the path, and the ice bergs are more deadly.

As I said though; all up phenomenal job so far! Seriously. Phenomenal.

I played this yesterday, but was unable to finish it, but I really like the attention to detail. It is a bit slow for my liking but all the parts are fun. I can tell you have put a lot of work into this level... it shows. As far as visuals go, this level is up there with the best of them. Easily 4.5 stars, this is a fantastic level and I would recommend it to any one.

Great Job!

Congrats on finally finishing it! I was wondering what had happened to this

So yeah, there are definitely some things that could improve. The Library/Cat level - lose it. It's got nothing to do with the Titanic, and is probably hurting the level more than anything...less is very often more. I don't think you should trash it because there are some solid parts to it and a cool boss, but maybe publish it as it's own level.

You also might want to break up the chapters into individual levels if the player wants to stop and come back later. In my case, the cat boss sent out a paw that never went back in forcing me to stop playing.

Lastly, I think this could use a bit more story and continuity; there are a lot of sackbots around but not much interaction and dialogue. It might be cool to meet someone on the dock that you help later on (just an example). If you look at any of the mm story levels, you usually know where you are and why you are there because of the characters that advance the story.

thanks chaz for your feedback. but im keeping the library level in or i will have to change up the cutscene in level 4a and 5 up if removed. I also like putting the cat in it because I wantted to put a little twist into a story. also the chapters are easily assesible threw the main menu.2012-01-19 05:54:00
