Little Big Gang: Episode 1 - Initiation

Archive: 5 posts

A new level I am thinking about making into a series that will evolve as my level building and logic skills evolve with it... this level although short and not as good as some out there is leaps and bounds above my other level attemps... it contains a lot of "advanced" logic.. puzzles, seek and find type level... I attempted having multiple endings, but it wasn't working - but I have since figured out what the problem may have been and will attempt that again in my next installment...

I am getting more comfortable withe the "cutscene" mechanics... now if I could just wrap my head around the sackbot acting and behavior to get them to work right in cutscenes I could move away from them just standing there...

This level utilizes some special effects logic, secret counters, "puzzle box", and some other various logic that took me a bit to get my head around... but I am getting there and would appreciate some feedback.. be gentle though I am still learning...

I would be open to any live help online anyone may want to give so feel free to add me or hit me up if you dont mind... especially you logic gurus... and thanks to compher for his vids... they helped alot

This was fairly decent, the layout had some good though in it, not sure if a level linked movie is required to be honest though. I like the concept and the song choice.2012-01-17 09:19:00

Yeah I may not level link in the future... but I am still having a bit of trouble with cinematics and sackbot intel for them... so as I was trying different things I wanted to keep the two sepertate so I did not inadvertantly break anything in the level itself... plus it makes for a decent place to store a few things like the title screen so I dont have to constantly recreate it or set it up should I wish to reuse them...

I as a get a little better and more comfortable with the cinematics I will probably just hide them elsewhere in the level and do away with the link... I had also had bigger plans for that cinematic, but the stupid sackbot AI was kicking my butt, and I dialed it back because of that...

I just played this level and I really like what you did here. I especially like the music. It just felt right for that level. Although it did stop at the end and take a minute to replay so there was about a minute or so of silence. The look of the level is good and the story was short and sweet. There is some room for improvement, but overall this was a pretty good job. I like the idea of the camera being zoomed out a bit, but it might have been just a little too zoomed out for my taste. With that said, the camera in now way ruined the experience. Kudos to you sir, I would rate this 4 stars because the story was a fun little one and the music was fantastic.

Good Job!

Generic and unoriginal, almost no intresting obstackles and events. Well made music, though.2012-02-03 09:25:00
