Things that should have already been done.

What should have been fixed or added a while ago into LBP2?
What do you think?
Personally I think the option when creating levels to let sackfolk run away from each other even in co-op.
I also reckon the colouration of the splat effect should match the colour of the object better.

They should fix the rating system.
For some reason I can only vote yay or boo.

It's not sarcastic. Soon we will only be able to vote yay! It will be so much simpler! Good or not. Heart or not.2012-01-19 05:00:00

They should have given us the option to block specific people from contacting us both by invite or profile message a loooooooooooooong time ago. And the online lag and connection problems should have been eliminated back in the beta.2012-01-19 13:26:00

Bingo

Official support of this is something I wanted since LBP1

Official 3-D layer support should have been added long ago as well

Raise the file size limit for the levels. I'm so tired of the thermometer filling up fast simply because my level contains alot of shapes but runs at a buttery smooth framerate. I feel SOOOOOO restricted because of the ridiculously small file size available. I, and I'm sure other creator curators are having to dumb their levels down so much not because the framerate is suffering but because the filesize due to complexity

The thermometer isn't about the size of the level, it's about how much the PS3 can load. See, the good ol' Playstation 3 is almost 6 year old-hardware. It's RAM is pretty weak. You can't make the console load more information than it can handle. And that's why the thermo exists. Push it anywhere near its limits and you'll have a laggy, buggy level the console just can't render properly. It litterally can't handle the amount of textures, effects, animations, AI, shapes, hitboxes, etc.

Normal games don't push the console's capabilities like LBP does because they're neatly optimized... but a game like LBP2 in which you can customize everything is the complete opposite of optimization, and that's why we get these long loading times for each evel and the amount of stuff you can put in it is limited like this.

More than 20 level spaces! Arrgh! (I know you can have 20 in LBP1 as well, but I want more LBP2 levels!)2012-01-20 00:00:00

If there's one thing they should fix (or change for that matter) is the way you exit the controlinators. I'd rather it be select to exit rather than R3 so we could have an extra button.2012-01-21 12:42:00
