I don't want to insult you, and I do admit that they are pretty, but these kind of costumes are personal. I would place it more under "show us your sackboy" than under tutorials, as I doubt anyone will search for costumes like that. | 2012-01-17 01:08:00 Author: Unknown User |
With the risk of sounding negative, I'll have to agree with Pivott. I expected a tutorial that goes into some creative tricks but instead it shows the most basic features of the game that everyone who has played LBP for more than an afternoon already knows. The videos are about your own sackboy costumes, your personal preference and you don't even explain why you like what you like. Here is what I like anyone who wants to make a LBP tutorial to take under consideration: Think hard of why what you have to tell is worth the viewer's/reader's time. Does it show them a useful technique? Does it perhaps inspire them to make something? Does it showcase your creative process and if so, why is that interesting to the viewer? Find an answer to that and make that the focus of your tutorial. Is what you are explaining already explained by someone else and if so, can you do a better job? Think of ways to make it interesting. Use clear, quality pictures that show what might otherwise be unclear. Cut your video where appropriate, for instance to skip dull parts. Prepare a story if you are doing a commentary; you don't need to read something off of paper, but in the two videos you posted it sounded like you lost track of what you wanted to talk about. If you write an article, proofread, cut, proofread again, cut again, before publishing. Don't take this the wrong way. If you feel passionate about spreading your experience, take any relevant of my bullet points to heart. | 2012-01-19 13:52:00 Author: Antikris Posts: 1340 |
