I've seen a lot of GTA type levels but a lot of them are either driving around doing nothing or shooting pedestrians. But, none has had a functional wanted level system or missions. The only one that is an actual full level is LBP2 GTA by danx87. I wanted to know if you think it is possible to make a big city using emitters and destroyers to load more land, since I want to start to create one. | 2012-01-13 05:19:00 Author: Unknown User |
Of course the emit/destroy method is possible, but it's mostly unnecessary until it's actually needed. If you can get all the land you need without using a massive amount of the thermo, there is not a need to go overboard and take the time to get the emitting and destroying synced up. | 2012-01-14 14:08:00 Author: piggabling Posts: 2979 |
Some parts of the world would have to persist, even if only for missions. A problem I see would be if you had the traffic control embedded as part of the emitted city area cars may drive off into empty areas and block the next city area from being emitted. The thing that annoyed me most about GTA1 and 2 was you'd see a fast gang car go past but when you went to try and get it because it had gone too far off-screen it simply disappeared. | 2012-01-14 20:43:00 Author: Ayneh Posts: 2454 |
