I have a Magic Mouth that is connected to a sequencer that I only want to play once and never be able to be reactivated again. However, while testing the level, it turns out that if I die and end up at the checkpoint before the mouth and sequencer, it replays, even if I have them both set to play once. What am I doing wrong?

Hi. Maybe giving away a little more info on the exact connections will get you more people to help. Just to point out that setting a sequencer to play once does not guarantee that it will play only one time and then stop working. Its just means that it will not repeat itself endlessly. Speaking of wich if you ignite the sequencer via the built in player sensor, although not in repeat, it will play every time the player will get inside its sensor area. I know it sounds as a very basic explanation but i am not a genious either.

If you wire Player Sensor into a Counter (Target Count set to 1, Current Count set to 0) and then wire the Counter into the Magic Mouth, you will create a "permanent switch". This causes the Magic Mouth and subsequent Sequencer to only be activated once per playthrough, and should fix your problem

You could also do it the "old" way of putting your magic mouth on dissolve material controlled by a player sensor.
