The lower the speed setting on a gyroscope, the slower it returns to its stable position. The lower the strength/acceleration setting, the less force is needed to unbalance it. Now that you use a gyroscope to stable it, you can also use multiple gyroscopes (with a relatively low speed setting) to make it bank forward and backward on movement. For example, if you move the stick to the left, it turns slightly to the left. Move to the right, it turns right. Stop moving and it balances itself. This can be achieved by wiring the output of the stick (controlinator) to a directional splitter. Wire the positive output to a gyroscope that is rotated to a certain angle on your chip. The negative output goes to another gyroscope, rotated the other way.
