ive noticed that the main site lacks a chat box or shout box, is there a way to get one on the site? if you want to see one click my sig for refernce..:arg:

Ah i see. Ok, yea Cbox's are a pain to monitor... ive fought endless seas of spammer pirates. >.< so we put the cbox on lockdown oly allowed for members only its like prison..but it was the only way

It would be great if you had one, I know a few more people would join (not from our site in particular) if there was a cbox. However that can be a bad thing, both me, Big Boss, and Doomflame have had to put up with spammers and our forum is small compared to yours so I don't know how it would all pan out. But if only members can post in it and have cbox mods then I think you could uphold the rules.

Like they said its hard to moniter. and there is many more people on this forum so many discussions may be on at the same time so it may be annoying to the people who are chatting. Though we could just try it for awhile and see how it goes

It'd take someone in there at all times. I've found that anything that uses online, anonymity, and an audience results in people being jerks when they know they can get away with it. I think it'd just cause more work for the staff, and telling by the "behavior" thread, they have enough trouble to worry about without expanding to something more troublesome.

As mentioned in this thread and previously in others the Admin team has decided that this is not a feature they want to implement on the site at this stage. Cheers QuozL
