Recently, I have been unable to save changes to my levels. Whenever I save my level, it says "recent changes to your profile could not be saved due to an unknown error". They'll still be there for the rest of the session, but if I quit and log back on, the changes are wiped. What's going on? I tried deleting and reinstaling the game data, but that didn't work. Please, someone help me! I don't want to have to delete my profile!

..."recent changes to your profile could not be saved due to an unknown error"... You could try making a profile backup, then reimporting it. Could just be the profile is too large - the game will tell you how big it is when you make the backup.

I had this problem around 3 months ago and only managed to fix it by importing a backup. It hasn't happened to me since, so it doesn't seem like it had to do with profile size.

I mean, you have a maximum amount of objects and pictures, so you shouldn't get too full so you get lags In the beta there were problems when your profile exceeded 10MB. It was resolved in the retail version, but you should still aim to keep your profile as small as possible. As a guess 10MB is still likely the total memory budget Mm set aside for profiles but it's kept under that by parts of it being cleverly juggled around between memory and the HDD, I dunno.

So its like skyrim on the ps3 once it passes 6mb it lags like crap, but lbp is 10mb and stops saving. Is it the PS3 or wat?

Thanks. As it happens, my profile is now at a whopping 14 MB. How can I reduce the size of the profile, earing in mind I can't save changes in Create Mde (or even changes to My Moon?)

only be deleting stuff... you could individually back up a few levels and then delete them until it becomes more stable, then go through your popit and clean out any junk.

Good news. The issue has been solved. I have now shrunk my profile size down to below 10MB by throwing out a load of useless old junk. Hooray!
