First, I'm a huge, no Gigantic Nascar fan. second, dude, Marcos Ambrose? Juan Pablo? Really? How about Mark Martin? Rusty Wallace? Richard Petty, the King? At lease you don't have Kyle Busch in there. The cars look fantastic and I look forward to seeing this.2012-01-07 06:43:00

Thanks

Car choice depends on popularity and how well the logo downsizes after I create it with the corner editor. For example "GoDaddy" or "Goodwrench" logos dont look good small.

Per request, here is Rusty Wallace, Mark Martin, and Richard Petty.

Awe haw some! got quick question though. I played your Indy race level and liked it. The only issue I had with it was the crash physics. While the effects are really cool ( I loved watching the different pieces fly off) it just seemed to go on forever. When I crashed the car just kept floating around banging into stuff until I was just a cockpit still floating around. can there be a timer on this or a hidden damage meter that when full, either ends the race or starts you in a new car minus a thousand points or something?2012-01-09 02:59:00

Your car can be damaged, but you wont lose control or power, ever, even with no engine . I've tried to make this one easier. No pitstops, AI holds their line high or low, etc etc. Its impossible to DNF now. Im backing off the "simulation" tag as thats probably why Indy has just 7 unique players.

Starting in a new car is a good idea. But the problem is once you trigger a crash the track becomes a junkyard and you'll ruin the new car just as fast.

The Indy level was my first experience with crash physics and I have figured out the logic to eventually get the cars to stop. Its tricky though as with every action there may be a negative reaction. These stock cars dont fly around the track as much as Indy after a crash. Its usually other undamaged AI cars that keep pushing the pile but they do eventually stop.

Im fine tuning the AI now and testing for bugs
