So I've been searching for awhile an I cant find an answer to my problem> I'm fairly new to LBP2 and I'm trying to build a Staircase that moves into place with a switch. I've been trying with pistons with no success. Right now I am completely stumped I know this is a pretty basic question and I have searched so sorry If this post doesn't belong here

There are no noob questions. All questions lead to enlightenment. I'm fairly new to LBP2 and I'm trying to build a Staircase that moves into place with a switch. I've been trying with pistons with no success. I'm guessing you mean where each step individually rises into place out of the floor, or something similar? If all the steps have equal dimensions then it's just a case of incrementing each piston by a set amount. I believe 1 small grid square is equal to a length of 2.5 on a piston, if that helps. If all the pistons are set to directional when you wire your switch to them and press it they'll all extend together. You could also place followers on the steps and make them follow tags that the switch turns on, so you could have the staircase assemble itself together from different directions, which might look cool.
