How to prevent logic from being off

Archive: 1 post

You know those power inputs at the bottom of chips? I make a lot of logic for others, and sometimes I use stored signals, but then people forget that using the power on the chips will remove the stored signal, which ruins the logic. That's one example of where you would need this tool. I've been messing up with the sequencer and found out that when the chip it's on gets OFF, the sequencer just freezes (if set to power), but what's on the sequencer will stay off. I also noticed that we could place batteries and make them wider than the edges of the sequencer. A sequencer with a battery coming out of both sides and set to loop will have this battery always ON, even if you set the chip off. Now you can also place a microchip on the sequencer under the battery, and wire the battery to the microchip. Now the chip on the sequencer on the chip will always be ON, even if the main chip is OFF !

It's very useful if you have feedback loops and stored signal in nodes. Just run a signal through a node, and plug the node in itself. Now you have a stored signal, just like a battery. To create signals that are smaller than 1%, use a speed sensor and a mover (timers lag, don't use them for this, it lacks precision). Now you can place these batteries on a chip on a sequencer on a chip. Disabling the main chip will make the output stop, but when you power the chip again it will output the signal back, because the loop won't have lost it.

It's mostly useful to people who use those and give logic to others. Just found out is was cool !
