LBP 2 Multiplication and Division
Archive: 15 posts
I have put together a system of multiplication and division, using signal strength. Also, With the application of division, can generate a steady signal with a 0.0010 reading, opening the option for 1000 different values, for a better range of values. The Math works, but as far as they go, one of your two intergers must be pre-determined. I can wire a selector to an AND gate, along with my base signal strength, to allow a user to choose between multiple intergers. So simple logic between 1x1 to 10x10 can be easily achieved. But before I post a tutorial, I would like some input to determine if these goals have been met. I will be continuing my work tonight, and should have a publishable tutorial ready by tomorrow evening. Also, I designed a Multi-floor, callable, and direction minded elevator, already published with a free copy. If anybody is interested. | 2011-12-30 23:54:00 Author: Unknown User |
everything you have suggested has already been achieved, and i believe all have already be added to the creators toolkit (http://lbp.me/v/8s5ec2), so can be collected by anyone who needs them. | 2011-12-31 02:11:00 Author: evret Posts: 612 |
Thanks, Ill check it out to see. | 2011-12-31 02:28:00 Author: Unknown User |
You should learn to use the search system, or use google and type site:lbpcentral.com before you type your search. I think the creator's toolkit still didn't publish the divide chip I gave them - and you should be careful, read the http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/Talk:Timer page if you're using timers to divide (yeah, evret, thanks for helping but yours had errors in it, I read rtm's guide and made my own which is two-way) Multiplying is done through addition. For the divides, well there's my Health Meter Toolkit which has them (link in signature) | 2012-01-01 01:01:00 Author: Unknown User |
evret's new multiplier is pretty impressive... | 2012-01-01 04:00:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
evret's new multiplier is pretty impressive... reverse engineered? | 2012-01-01 07:37:00 Author: evret Posts: 612 |
reverse engineered? Nah, I just put a sticker on it. | 2012-01-02 04:43:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
Nah, I just put a sticker on it. If you liked it then you shoulda put a sticker on it Wo oh ooh oh oh ooh oh oh ooh oh oh oh | 2012-01-02 14:46:00 Author: Antikris Posts: 1340 |
If you liked it then you shoulda put a sticker on it Wo oh ooh oh oh ooh oh oh ooh oh oh oh lmao. nah fusion has a habit of sticking his sticker on anything i show him to try to claim it as his own work (not seriously of course) | 2012-01-02 14:55:00 Author: evret Posts: 612 |
(not seriously of course) Yeah... Not seriously... That's the ticket. Just wait until I get a sticker on that spiderman bot. I do have a large amount of Evret logic that I tried to reverse engineer, and it usually breaks my mind. My current project is his zero latency multiplier... I gave up on his dynamic signal probe. Not sure if you plan to share it in the logic toolkit though. | 2012-01-02 21:47:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
My current project is his zero latency multiplier... I gave up on his dynamic signal probe. Not sure if you plan to share it in the logic toolkit though. I still need to check out the new version of the kit. Just hate it that dropping it inside Create bumps my thermo 40%. I often can't afford that, so I guess I'll just have to stick it on a dedicated crater or something to copy from. | 2012-01-03 09:28:00 Author: Antikris Posts: 1340 |
My current project is his zero latency multiplier... I gave up on his dynamic signal probe. Not sure if you plan to share it in the logic toolkit though. i gave them the multiplier, not sure if they capped the expanding zero latency probe or not though. by the way, the multiplier uses the same method to replace the sequencer as i used in the probe, so you'll probably find the probe would be the easiest of the 2 to understand | 2012-01-03 12:18:00 Author: evret Posts: 612 |
It was said in the creator's toolkit that it wouldn't accept new probes, but I don't think the one they have is instant and it isn't extendable, so I would put it in. ^^ | 2012-01-04 02:56:00 Author: Unknown User |
Evrets probe is cool because you choose the amount of numbers to display. I actually use the chip version though because it was eaiser to put my sticker on it. The kit is quite hefty. Which is why I rebuilt it for my own use, well the parts I find useful. It is more efficient on thermo... Sort of. | 2012-01-04 06:38:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
I see it has been discovered. Well, I am still proud of my self for creating it within the first 2 hours of owning this copy of the game. | 2012-01-07 00:03:00 Author: Unknown User |
