Chillstone Falls

Archive: 10 posts

Hi everyone, I just finished a short but scenic level set in a winter wonderland! I plan on continuing this as a series but with less detail and more actual gameplay.

I'll do up to five F4F, thanks for playing!

Pictures!

Looks nice and saw a good review in my recent activity.

If you can leave feedback for my new level, Visionary, I'd appreciate it. It's in this forum.

Got your level queued.

Escape Level Bug reported in "Chillstone Falls" near the very beginning. If you take a look at the pictures I uploaded to lbp.me in the links below, from top to bottom, it should hopefully show the area and the problem. An invisible wall around where the third picture takes place should do the trick. Here are those links.

Other than that, great level like usual zynax.

Just played it. I did have a exclamation point, and then at the end, I could tell there were pieces that were invisible. Which is too bad cause the level design is really well done.

I had the same issue with my Explorers level. I hated that I kept having to find ways to scale back. A shame we have to reduce our design ideas to fit within the confines of the games ability.

Anyway, great level design. Too bad its so short. Would have like to have seen more.

Look forward to your next full scale level.

Checked out your level today in a party of four, which really put a strain on what must already a level with a fully maxed out thermo.
The environmental atmosphere is superb with an artistic eye for colour, materila and detail. Obviously it is the saturated detail which has swallowwed up so much of the thermo, as in the pics you posted at the top of the thread, each rock and pebble individually chipping away a little piece of the thermo at a time. What gameplay there was in the level was very well implemented, a combination of exploration and platforming. The subtle fall of snow also taking a chumk of thermo no doubt?
On the basis of what I experinced in this level I will forward to and happily play the forthcoming series because of the saturated visual design and well thought out gameplay devices intergrated into the environment. Great job.

I played this level and I must say it is fantastic! It is a bit short but that is understandable because of the detail. This is truly one of the best looking levels I have ever seen and it is fun. I look forward to playing the rest of the series. Great Job and keep up the good work!2012-01-18 16:44:00
