"We must save the LittleBigPlanet! It's exploding with terrible levels(no offense)!"
For some reason, that part made me LOL so much
EDIT: I feel quite stupid, but what am I supposed to write at the part with the stickers?

Some n00b rated this level 2 stars, and now it only has a three star rating. I bet he couldn't beat it!

Could you guys beat it?

Guys, being welcoming and friendly to new members doesn't mean you can't help them improve by giving constructive criticism. You guys are all to lovey dovey with each other which doesn't help anyone improve. As for this level, I'd say it needs work, and a lot of it. First of all, I'm flattered that you included my name in your level. However, you can't just use other people's names without their consent, especially if your level doesn't represent your best work. This level sends a strong message, but one that is too often lost in the level. In tweenage terms, someone who isn't on LBPCentral wouldn't know how to get passed the password. As a great creator once said, "You should NEVER require the player to do something so random as a password to continue on with the level." This is because the chances of someone guessing a code, especially a long one is slim. Even though it may seem easy to you, others might have trouble with it. As for the visuals, I'd say they are spotty at best. While you understand the need for detail in small things like leaves, this level doesn't look neatly put together with upside down-diagonal race gates and black cardboard material with "Yeah!" stickers on it.

All in all, I suggest you spend more time on your levels in the future because in this one, it unfortunately shows. You have great potential and your confidence is inspiring, but honestly, you can't be so arrogant. As for your signature, I'm sure plenty of people on the site have athletic interests including me. Just because you bandwagon UNC doesn't make you any better. Sorry, but someone had to say it. I don't mean to offend you at all with this post, but rather to wake you and everyone else up. This level is a great start, but you need to keep working at it. =]

@Woodbury- THANK-YOU. Ironic how the people releasing the weak levels are teaming together to put out "good levels" and save LBP PSP

unc- youre not the only jock who plays LBP, dont worry. I do football track and formerly volleyball and baseball and basketball. this level needs alot of work, and not to be rude, but please stop criticizing other noobish levels and such before your levels are better, and the LBP EXPERT sig makes you look like a straight up n00b. There I said it. This probably all sounds mean but I'm cranky and tired and im just trying to help and am sick of playing all these quickly assembled levels for the spotlight team.

On that note, everyone have a happy new years eve!

Also the most important note:
I decided to help unc92sax make his level better, which means there will be a BIG update of the level.
Also I wish everyone here Happy New Year!

Oh my word I kinda want to vent....

I completely agree with both Woodbury and Ricky. I'd re-read those posts, unc. Actually I think everyone should read woodburys. We are here to give constructive criticism, though I don't think a lot of you understand that.

I used to have a psp review thread in which Woodbury posted one of his first levels. And let's be realistic, it kinda sucked. But I wasn't rude about it, I wasn't being overly kind, I just told him how it was and that helped him in the future! (I'm not saying I'm the reason he's where he is today). But i am saying constructive criticism helps, so stop being modest and tell people how it is. Saying it was better than the previous but needs better scenery does not help!

I will play this level when I get home next week.

Our Story
Score: 3.8/10
By: Unc92sax

A level with good intentions, but poor execution.

Story: 5/10
Let me get this straight, I really think your intentions are very good. You sound very passionate about the PSP community just like me, however some parts come off in a questionable sense. In the opening dialogue, you list some creators around here that you know. I'm not going to complain I wasn't listed because I don't care, but it still is a little inconsiderate you would even start to list some people. I suppose some lbpc users would feel bad or unwanted that they weren't listed! Thinking in the shoes of a non-lbpc user viewpoint, I really don't see the benefit for them reading that.

You say at one part more than 30 minutes creating. I'm sorry but that is a horrible thing to say. A good level should take at least over 3 hours. Honestly. Maybe one hour if it's a little minigame. Maybe.

And also, community objects are not a good thing to promote lbpc with. It's pretty much using someone else's creation so you can be lazy and slack. We want people to come here with original things and levels, not to come here seeking community objects in levels.

Music/SFX Choice: 5/10
Beginning music sounds good, boss music was random, and glockenpop ruined it for me... Didn't find much SFX.

Appearance: 4.5/10
Sloppy for the most part. Aside from the kill justin bieber section, there were some areas I was still questioning whether you were trying to mimic poor levels as if they were destroying the PSP, and that's not a good thing. Right near the entrance of the level there is visible dissolve material, you could've made the same gameplay mechanic by simply making the dissolve material above the player's viewpoint. The area with the race is just simply ugly. Everything else is just ok. You are improving though, I'll give you that.

Creatures/Objects: 3/10
Copy-paste character throughout nearly the whole thing. The rest are just ok.

Gameplay: 4/10
It's extremely unclear what to do after riding the pulley, you pretty much had to guess to grab the bush thing. The "SAVE LBP" sticker thing is kinda unnecessary, and a bit confusing until you really look at the letters under switch triggers. The race with the fire is very annoying, though I know you were trying to make it difficult. Rest was meh.

Overall: 3.8/10 (not an average)
I don't want to come off as an arrogant person who thinks they're better than everyone else by posting something like this, because those are not my intentions at all. I believe everyone has potential and anyone can create something spectacular, it just takes time and a good attitude when reading un-modest criticism.

I honestly believe it's more effective to create a very good level of any sort, and just put a lbpc banner or advertisement in that level. When people play a good level and see that, that automatically think 'Oh, I might be able to find sweet levels like this on that website!' or something like that. Even I joined because of that! I saw a lbpcentral banner in my favorite level at the time and googled it, then found my way here! Not bragging or trying to be condescending, but a few people have told me they found lbpc and joined because they saw the banner in some of my levels. it just works better in my opinion, and probably others.

Anyways, I'll say it again, I really compliment you on your intentions. While I think this isn't the best approach to our ever-shrinking community, I'm glad to see someone like you still cares enough to make this.

Thanks for the review.
I know it's kinda sloppy, but I wanted to save the community quickly.
This level will be updated by schark.
And, I might update it myself, too. Plus, I published three of these, and I put an lbpc banner in my trophy room.
The update probably won't be soon, because I'm back in school. But schark will have his own update too. You can be expecting a good update from me in a few weeks.

I shouldn't reply but... IMO, don't make an update. It'd be more effective getting creators on lbpc by making a very good original level with an lbpc ad.

Yeah I think I'm gonna leave it because last time I've got tons of new levels to finish... so I'm going to work on my own now. Sorry Unc

The level is good and the idea of saving the LBP PSP community is great

Good things:
-Music, Glockenpop!
-And some other stuff
-I was mentioned in the beginning of the level

Bad things:
-Few Sounds
-Visuals
-Success of the idea

Amazing things:
-Nothing i guess

Overall: I think its a good level what i just played, it didint do anything "OUTSTANDING" but it was fun. In the level it said you should create at least 30 mins, i think everyone should create a level at least 6 hours! And i dont think many will start to create levels after playing this level.

Rating::star::star::star::star::star:
You are getting better and better at creating

I made a level in one day for a contest last year... and won. (Clicky (http://www.littlebignetwork.com/showthread.php/9491-The-quot-Love-Sack-quot-Official-PSP-Competition-thread))

Anywho, I wish I could play this level, but my PSP will no longer connect to my wifi. -.-
