| Hey guys Robmandx here, I love to record levels, but also have set-up a site where I review one or multiple levels, providing constructive criticism, on areas that can be improved, but also reflecting on the positives of the level. So by recording the level, with some commentary, I also will review your level on this site. Sackfist (http://www.wix.com/sackfist/sackfist-reviews) Along with a new channel, Sackfist (http://www.youtube.com/user/Sackfist?feature=mhee) So subscribe to it and post your levels that you wish to be reviewed, along with your PSN. By having them online, It will also be a promotion tool for your level/s to get more plays. | Hey there Sackfist, I sunbscribed to you. My PSN is "mikemichaelmic", and I'd like for you to review a level I made called 8-Bit Wonderland DEMO http://lbp.me/v/7qfbxv . This DEMO is only a tiny fraction of a much bigger game that I've been working on for nearly a year. The DEMO has a good amount of plays but it'd be awesome to have a VIDEO review. | Heya Sackfist, I donno if you review music levels. I have made one which is the music from Megaman 2, everything you see was created by me. Simply because I love the 8-bit Megaman series. http://lbp.me/v/0945nb I also have the music from Megaman 1, 3 and 4. But 1 and 4 are yet to be updated with the sprites 2 and 3 use. Thanks P.S. Mikemichaelmic, your levels are looking fantastic. I love all the old 8-bit games, and the fact that you've created it all yourself, the music included (God do I know how tough it can get when dealing with music) makes it all the more fantastic. While I am making the game, graphics, level design and most of the logic I didn't make the music. I actually have 5 people working on the music (race9876, benjyisawesome,vetnern,a_smart_person, and Hed_Cheez) because I pretty much have no musical talent haha. I also have My other friend Goober working on some minor logic like menus, but I make the rest of it. It did start out just me making it the game is so huge it's just too much for one person to handle, and without my friends it wouldn't be near as good ad it's turning out. | Ok I have published the two levels, 8 bit wonderland and megaman 2 music. | So I read your review of my 8-Bit Wonderland DEMO. Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it so much . To answer a few of your concerns. The level links are sorta unavoidable. 8-Bit visuals take up a staggering amount of thermo, and because of this level links are a must. The most challenging part about creating with 8-Bit graphics is to balance the visuals, and gameplay. I mean, I can go crazy detailed with the visuals, but that means that the gameplay would take a huge hit. However I can't focus too much on the gameplay neither because the games gimmick is the retro visuals. The stage length however is fought by tough gameplay, and multiple worlds. The full game will have a total of 5 main worlds, (not counting the final stages, and bonus worlds) with each world having multiple SUB-stages. Some of the later stages are even more complex in there design, and have more than 3 sub-stages. As for the difficulty remember I'm still tweaking the stages for any really frustrating platforming sections so keep that in mind. Anyways I hope that addresses your concerns! Sorry you found it too hard - it was aimed at being quite challenging  Most people manage to finish the level but i'll consider putting in some extra pointers. It is an exploration puzzler that makes you think. You won't be breezing through it in a couple minutes and the difficulty seems to be a little above average for most LBP players so be patient and don't get discouraged if you do give it a go.
