Movie Camera Suggestions

The movie camera is a wonderful tool, but it can really frustrate me at times. I have two simple suggestions to make the big bad frustration fly away into the sunset.
1) Tweak their trigger behaviors.
They can only really be activated once, and only once. You can't turn them off once you've turned them on (with a trigger at least). It would be convenient if you could toggle them on and off easily.
2) Checkpoints.
I was recently trying to make a level that involved the movie camera following a player throughout the level. However, if the player dies and a previously activated checkpoint isn't on screen, the player doesn't re spawn. The camera just sits there, forcing you to restart in order to come back. I really think that should be fixed. If not, maybe the game camera could have a flatness and blurriness ratio too? That'd be really helpful.

em... as much as these could be useful, some really simply logic can solve both issues so as much as I like the idea, I think other things should take priority

Logic like...what? I don't want to place sackbots like I usually have to do. I kind of want the player to be able to swim.
I also don't like to place movie cameras on looping sequencers, as they never stop if you place them all the way to the end. You have to make it stop before the end of the sequencer in order for it to work correctly, but then it skips.
