What's good about LBP these days?
Archive: 6 posts
The game used to be all I played, now I've moved on, and I don't feel inspired in create. It seems like not as many people play it anymore, and anything I create will not be seen by anyone. Mm's stepping aside was another thing that kicked me in the gut. What new things have been going on in LBP2 I haven't been on in ages. Can someone inspire me to put the disk back in and browse these sites once more? | 2011-12-27 01:43:00 Author: TheBlackKnight22 Posts: 695 |
1-It's LBP. 2-It's LBP. 3-It's LBP. .... .... .... .... 1376-It's LBP. | 2011-12-27 02:15:00 Author: SnipySev Posts: 2452 |
I've seen so many topics like this, there's nothing really to say that has not been said before. all i'll say this time is if you like LBP then stay with it. if you don't anymore, then don't. I myself will never get truly bored with it. sure i take small breaks sometimes, but i always will come back. i enjoy creating my own games on it. i'm a artist too so i'll always enjoy creating the stories in my head. and i don't want to create games on some other game creator that'd most likely be to hard to do alone and take me forever to do so and i would need to learn advance coding and stuff, kinda pointless sense I already like the style/looks and things of LBP. it don't really matter that not as many people play it as they did before in the past, that just means the more hardcore and loyal members of LBP are left overall instead of some the type of people who only enjoy popular popcorn games like COD and so on. enough people still play/create on LBP IMO. all that matters is if you enjoy it. if you don't. then again you have your answer IMO. *mew | 2011-12-27 02:38:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |
I'm amazed everyday by what people are still creating. Take a gander at the spotlights over the past 6 months. Some brilliant levels. I still can't tear myself away from this game. I started Ratchet and Clank crack in time and love it, but here I sit playing LBP at the same time as surfing the threads. I love the game | 2011-12-27 02:40:00 Author: biorogue Posts: 8424 |
Sadly, no one can help you to enjoy something you no longer enjoy. However, sometimes, finding friends to do it with can make it fun. Like going to the gym. It gets boring on your own, so you go with a buddy. I see lots of people who are all over the community in this game. Offering help in series, or small projects. Personally, I like going to the gym on my own, and I create alone. So, I'm not bothered. However, it is nice once in a while to go play some levels with good people. So, its up to you. Good luck. | 2011-12-27 07:25:00 Author: CYMBOL Posts: 1230 |
At the end of each year, LBP always sees a lull in the number of people playing and in the number of good levels being published. It's because all the big name titles are released for the xmas period and each November gamers suddenly find themselves inundated with a flood of great games to chose from. This year there was Skyrim, Arkham City, Uncharted 3, Assassins Creed: Revelations and Saints Row 3. However these games have limited replayability, and once the initial buzz has worn off then I'm sure you'll find the flock returning to the only truly "never ending" game on PS3...Little Big Planet....that faithful spouse who you will always come home to after a night on the town. | 2011-12-27 08:58:00 Author: Ungreth Posts: 2130 |
