I tried to think of a "soon" joke but gave up and just signed it. I sometimes wish there was a dedicated music forum in the hopes of the community's most talented flocking to it - where we can then catch them alive, put them in cryogenic stasis and drain their minds of precious knowledge and experience. About a year ago I was blindfolded at my house and taken to a wooded area, where I was wrapped in bacon and forced to dance in my undies around a fire. He's called Account_Defender and he goes around threatening to ban people as if he had the power to. He usually says something along the lines of "Dear User" blah blah blah "We have noticed you're [yes, he misspells it] unacceptable behaviour. The next time is a ban." Er, hur dur? PFFFT! Nice try. By the way, NONE of the victims have done anything remotely insulting at all. I figured out that he just "defends" players that are disliked by many people. The team and I came to a unanimous decision to drop out of the contest and produce a better game. Its not that we cant make it, but we see the opportunity only comes around once to produce an RPG on the scale we are intending. And the game conflicts with the heavy restrictions on this contest and trying to kill two birds with one stone may have seemed like a good idea at the time, but this game is aiming higher than a crown or bragging rights, and ultimately will mess up our project in the long run. With that said, I did have fun making a mad dash to the finish line. I seen growth within my team, especially xtremesackboy. Over these past two months he has grown into a humbled, talented artist--even using 3D glitches now and I am really proud of him. To all the other entrants, good luck with the contest. Hopefully you guys used the time fully; I know we did. And I learned a heck of a lot about development and directing--probably more than I did in school, and when a contest does that, then its doing something right. Cheers, Rpg Maker What's next? You see, I personally need to go to sleep. However, to go to sleep, I must lay down on a bed, therefore I am not touching the ground. A simple mathematical formula can be formed for this type of logic: g+h=l g=ground, h=height, and l=level. By sleeping on a bed that is 8 inches above the ground, we could conquer that 0 is our base (g), so 0+8=8. That would mean I am 8 inches above the ground, thus levitating. Because of this levitation, this would mean that my brain would need to be functioning at a higher rate/percentage than the average human mind. Extrasensory Perception (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extrasensory_perception) (or ESP) is commonly linked with this phenomenon. It is already scientifically proven that our brains are constantly at work, even during the sleep cycle. Not only that, but the mind also experiences a high rate or processing, known as dreams. For unknown reasons, dreams occur throughout our life with no actual reason. Nevertheless, the brain rejuvenates itself over night, so we see dreams as a mere pass time. I do not. By seeing ESP as another factor for our equation, we can assume that g+h=l is dependent on ESP, therefore l=ESP. By being 8 inches off the ground, I mind is processing 8*10^23 signals per second (the equation for this similar to the one used to find molecules in an element, since we're studying the element of surprise sleep). If the average human really does sleep for about 8-10 hours a day, we should find the total amount of seconds we sleep, which would be 28800-36000 ((60*60)*8 and (60*60)*10). The sheer number of signals sent must mean we have surpassed every type of human intelligence possible, meaning we are a higher type of life form than we thought. In conclusion, we now that the truth: every time we sleep, we become ESP using aliens with no disregard of the actual laws of physics and the universe, whatsoever. What does this have to do with getting grounded? I don't know, but at least I made a scientific breakthrough, so that wasn't a total waste of time!  well.... have a massive environment... and then... then... theres a bomb somewhere... and no hope of escape... y'all still following?... yeah?... good. Anyway, you find the bomb and with 10 seconds to go you need to cut the right wires... and you could have somebody talkin in your ear giving you clues to the right one. UPON ARRIVAL, I DISCOVERED THE LAND THEY WERE IN WAS A VAST DESERT, YET A SPAWN OF A PATCH OF HELL HAD GROWN WITHIN THE VERY SAND. THE GROUND AND AIR BREATHED FIRE, AND THE DEMONS OF THE SKY BLIGHTED ASH AND GLOOM ONTO OUR HEADS. AMONG THE CHAOS STOOD THE SILHOUETTE OF AN INFINITE BLACK TOWER, FULL OF RIFTS AND DIMENSIONS INDESCRIBABLE. I NOTICED ONE OF US HAD PLACED WOOD SUPPORTS ON THE WALLS OF IT SO THAT WE MAY SCALE IT. SO ONCE I SCALED IT, A MIGHTY LORD OF KERN CAME DOWN, WHO SUMMONED THE DARK ENEMIES, AND GAVE ME WEAPONS, PLEADING ME TO FIGHT FOR HIS ENTERTAINMENT. I SLEW THE MANY ENEMIES WITH MY FRIENDS, AND THEN PROCEEDED TO BUILD A FORTRESS ON TOP THE TOWER ITSELF, TO PROTECT MYSELF AGAINST THE REMAINING FOE. I BUILT IT INTO WHAT WAS LIKE A HOME...BUT THEN THE LORD OF KERN PIERCED A HOLE WITHIN THE VERY ROCK ROOF, AND PLACED VENOMOUS SPIDERS UPON ME AND MY COMRADES HEADS. AFTER VICTORY OF THAT, WE BUILT THE SHELTER STRONGER, BUT THE LORD OF KERN PLACED STRONGER ENEMIES, MANY THAT COULD DEFEAT US WITHIN SWIFT BLOWS. WE FLED TO THE CITY OF NEW TEAHEDURST. ONCE WE ARRIVED I REALIZED THAT MY OLD FORTRESS, NOW ABANDONED, STILL SAT MIGHTILY UPON IT'S MOUNTAIN IN THE DISTANCE. WE NEEDED TO DIG FAR AWAY ENOUGH TO SURFACE AT AN AREA THAT HAD NO SKY DEMONS, BUT TIME WAS RUNNING SHORT, SO I BEGAN DIGGING UPWARD PRECARIOUSLY. ONCE SURFACED, THE CAVE FLOODED AS WE WERE STILL UNDER THE OCEAN, WE SWAM THROUGH THE WATER A PLACED OUR BOATS AT THE SURFACE, ALL WHILST DODGING FIRE FROM THE SKY. WE MANAGED TO SAIL FAST AND SWIFT ENOUGH TO ESCAPE THE DEMONS. WE THOUGHT WE WERE SAFE, ON ROUTE TO THE NASA BASE, BUT THE LORD OF KERN HAD TAKEN INTEREST TO OUR GROUP AND BEGAN TO PURSUE US AS HE FURTHER PLACE SKY DEMONS AMONG US. AT LAST, THE NASA BASE, IMPREGNABLE AND MIGHTY, WAS IN SIGHT. IT WAS SMALL, BUT IT'S STONE AND IRON WALLS WERE UNBREAKABLE. ABLE TO STOP ALL ENEMIES. WE RAN TO THE MAIN GATE, BUT THE LORD OF KERN HAD PLACED CREEPERS A MANY UPON THE PLACE. THEY SWARMED ABOUT US AS WE RAN IN, I MANAGED TO GET FOOTHOLD A PLACE MYSELF WITHIN THE BASE, BUT ONE CREEPER BROKE THROUGH, AND KILLED A COMRADE. ALL SEEMED SAFE, BUT WE UNDERESTIMATED THE LORD OF KERN. HE PIERCED THE ROOF IN A FAST BLOW, AND POURED THE VILE WHITE WORMS OF THE EARTH AMONG US. | I understand the point of putting it in there until Alec is able to add it, but putting it in a quotes for 2012 thread could still be..confusing for some. May I suggest an extra category, just for any extra noteworthy quotes that Alec was too busy to add before 2012 hits. | Memorable quotes don't always have to try making you laugh, so here's one I think should be added. Just coming for formally announce Chrono Chrysalis isnt being entered into LBPC6. The team and I came to a unanimous decision to drop out of the contest and produce a better game. Its not that we cant make it, but we see the opportunity only comes around once to produce an RPG on the scale we are intending. And the game conflicts with the heavy restrictions on this contest and trying to kill two birds with one stone may have seemed like a good idea at the time, but this game is aiming higher than a crown or bragging rights, and ultimately will mess up our project in the long run. With that said, I did have fun making a mad dash to the finish line. I seen growth within my team, especially xtremesackboy. Over these past two months he has grown into a humbled, talented artist--even using 3D glitches now and I am really proud of him. To all the other entrants, good luck with the contest. Hopefully you guys used the time fully; I know we did. And I learned a heck of a lot about development and directing--probably more than I did in school, and when a contest does that, then its doing something right. | Okay, so recently I (and many other people) ran into a fake mod or...something. He's called Account_Defender and he goes around threatening to ban people as if he had the power to.
