Horrifying Maze Asylum!

I've recently published a new level. I might go back to add a bit more scary stuff, but I just wanted to see what you guys would think . It's a maze level in which you have to find your way out of a haunted asylum. It's abandoned and dark, and there's no one but you and a handful of the dead. Sorry if you think it's too dark, but that just adds to the tension! Tell me if it was scary enough . It's probably best to play it at night/ in the dark. Here are a couple of pictures taken during creation to give you a nice idea of what it's like.

It was great, just need to add more "AI" and follow up on the tension build up because there was much more maze than scares, but perhaps that is what you were aiming for. All in all great job, deserves more plays.2011-12-25 17:56:00

Just played your level. I wanted to point out a few things. First, the atmosphere is wonderful. You captured the horror aspect of your level perfectly. The lighting matched the feel you were going for and the scares were well designed and very creative. My favorite was the blurry rotating camera. Very disorienting. That being said, there were points in the game that could use some tuning. The maze aspect was done wonderfully, however, it can be frustrating to get to the very end just to die on some spikes that you can't see. Checkpoints are a must...even if only few and far in between. The flashlight part was interesting to help me see one set of spikes, but underused.

You did a wonderful job on the sound, no complaints there. Timing was spot on and added to the tension. Music wasn't overpowering and matched the tone.

Overall, a great level. Though I think you'll lose people who become frustrated when they can't find their way. I, myself, made to to where I could see the end but died on spikes and decided to stop. Keep up the good work.

Could you please play my Legend of Zelda game starting with the intro. It is a long game in four parts but I think you'll enjoy it. Please leave me comments on how I can improve on the level itself (and on the thread if you want but I check the game more)
