"Globe" Switches

| This may have been asked already, but I didn't see anything. Does anyone know what those "globe" switches are in the MGS levels? They look a little bit like a proximity switch, but they're more circular and look like Earth cut in half. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, there's one right at the beginning of the level that has the Solid Eye sticker switch. The "globe" switch is in the lower left corner, underneath the entrance gate. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, there's one right at the beginning of the level that has the Solid Eye sticker switch. Those are, we believe, used to change the lighting and fog settings- whenever they use it, it turns darker and such, or vice versa. Oh, that's awesome. I've been hoping they would add that functionality to the game.
