Have any of you tried your hand at making mechs? I did, and it was a fail XD i can make a spaceship, a detailed car, but for some reason, mechs are the trickiest and most complex thing to make. I did end up finally making one, but it wasnt that good. Ive always wanted to learn how to make one. Have you tried making one? If so was it sucess? 2011-12-22 02:23:00

I've made a couple. They work well but I wouldn't say that they're great.2011-12-22 18:01:00

I had a go at making one once, but wobble bolts are really glitchy to work with and spazz out under the slightest degree of torsion, so I just gave up in the end. I still have the aborted monstrosity in my poppit, this thing that staggers two steps before stumbling on it's face, then drags itself across the floor like an hysterical child having a hissy fit in the supermarket because it's mum wouldn't buy it sweeties.2011-12-23 13:10:00

I made a few mechs in LBP1. They were all realy simple, just wobble bolts and pistons. I found that weight displacement and the shape of the feet were critical to whether it would walk or not. Course, this is all easier now in LBP2 since we have gyroscopes and stuff.

Oh god, that analogy made me LOL hard. Gotta love British snark
You should team up with the guy that makes these reviews (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation).
