Hello,

I've got LBP for a few days now. And I have collected some items online/offline. But now when I collect items online it says: can't save, profile is getting too big.
But my profile is only 4mb :S What do I have to do?

You must delete some community objects. Press triangle I believe it is while hovering above them to delete them.2008-12-27 15:27:00

But that means I can't collect many online items?
Or is a community object something special?

Nope, community objects are those online items.

You must delete some. Most are useless anyway >_<.

Yeah, and you have to enter create mode to access the objects to delete them. Kind of a hassle. My sons have a habit of playing lots of online levels, and never bothering to delete unwanted objects. This message pops up every time we play together, and it's really annoying. I hope Mm enhance the inventory management. I'd love a multiple select/delete.2008-12-27 17:40:00

Just delete the usless ones that you do not think you will use, it works pretty well if you do it right after you finish a level,2008-12-27 17:42:00

yes you do,
atm I cant create anymore levels (got 10, on a moon that can easily contain 50), no community items! 16gb free on ps3.

must be a bug, unless its just very very stupid.
cant say anything otherwise.

Well I was going to start a thread but I see one was started long ago.

This problem has been the most frustrating one by FAR for me in this game.

I have 4 community items that I cant part with, I've cut down my own saved items to 8, (that's the least I can possibly have). I have 2 pictures I have saved...WHAT THE &%$#&$(($#^$#@ ELSE DO I HAVE TO DO!!????

I mean if it's honestly the space on my moon from 11 levels out of 50 or whatever...that's absolutely absurd. For a game that promotes sharing items and such, this is EXTREMELY disappointing.

1. Duuuude, this is like 7 months old...
You could've necro'd one of the newer ones you know?

2. 11 levels -_-
People usually only have 4-8 levels, keep in mind that if a level has a high termometer its gonna take more space.
I doubt you're workiking on all 11 at once, so why not just lock-publish some, and delete them from your moon to gain space. No need to have them all in your moon.

Oh...If I lock/publish them as "copyable" I would have exclusive rights to them correct?

Should I delete ALL the levels on my moon that I have published? That just makes me nervous...

You don't even need to make them "copyable" as they are yours... you can always copy them back down from the servers. The "copyable" setting is for other players.

I was nervous about this at first too... but eventually it has to be done, or the game becomes almost useless. It does work. Just make a USB back-up of your own first if you're nervous about Mm's servers.

Couple of info:

1-YES the profile space is small. Yes Media Molecule were air headed about not planning this.

2-No this profile space can't increase and this is because of Sony's TRC (long story). In short, don't have much hope this issue of space would go away anytime soon.

3-What takes space:

-Your saved levels on your moon
-Your saved costumes
-Your pod decorations
-Your saved objects
-Your saved stickers
-The community pictures you collected
-The community objects you collected

4- Your solutions:

-Delete anything of everything from number 3 (what takes space)
-Store stickers on "storage levels".
-Store objects on "storage levels".
-Publish those storage levels but locked.
-Transfert your levels and storage levels on another PSN account.

5- How to benefit from another PSN account:

Publish your levels from account A in locked/copyable state. Log into your account B and then download those levels.
You can do this basically to infinity so if you're like to have 200 accounts with moons full of levels and storage levels -- you can.

i noticed that if anybody (from another place, online) starts to place stickers in your pod from his playstation eye, it'll get your profile full, like really fast O_o

don't get angry if this is like really old news
