Well I am still working on my competitive entry, and since this one was finished, I decided to go ahead and advertise. This level starts with a bubble combo climb up Mt. Crumpit to the cave of the Grinch. Once inside, you will play a mini game involving shooting the heads of the Grinch as they appear in the arena. You will be on a conveyor belt. Points are awarded for hitting the grinch heads but deducted if you dont shoot them in time. Presents and wreaths also appear but do not hit them. Points are deducted if you hit one and points are awarded if they are not hit within 5 seconds of them appearing. anyway, I am not all that happy with the level overall, but I hope you give it a go. www.lbp.me/v/8fvy9y http://lbp.me/v/8fvy9y

Woo Hoo! It's released! and Dang it! it's earlier than I expected. I figured later on this evening. Stuck at work right now, and man, it was queued before you even built it.

I liked it the notification of max multiplier was nice as was the mini game and rhyming. The actual design was also great both in layout and art. I did think that the conveyer belt section was zoomed out a little too much and it was hard to jump the coal as I always jumped too quickly. The penalty for missing and hitting the presents was better than the death penalty so I just ignored the coal and made sure I hit the targets until I died.

Awesome job on the LBN Christmas level. VISUALS: The snowy level designs are greatly polished, and it has some cool effects such as the rolling snowball. SOUND: Great remake of "Welcome Christmas" music from the animated special. GAMEPLAY: The platforming obstacles with the score bubble combos are fantastic. The minigame is also very fun. I don't know if you did it on purpose, but there's three -500 score givers each time I missed the Grinch head in the minigame. OVERALL: This level is a score-giving extravaganza with great "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" theme. A yay and heart.

@mrfusion, thanks for the feedback. All the rhyming dialogue was an attempt to pay homage to the actual Dr. Suess story, as some folks easily forget its a staple of a lot of his works. And while it is original by me, I did attempt to make it as close to the original. @justinart, thanks again for the feedback. The music is by cortez72 and the grinch was made by the_hog_flu. Glad you liked it!
