Infuriating score display issue

Hi guys,

I'm sure what I've done is going to have a really simple solution and that it was my fault in the first place, but I've having trouble with the score display in a level.

Put simply, the score display won't go away when playing the level, it's constantly there in the top right hand corner displaying a score of zero. It only disappears when a movie camera that deactivates controls is active. Have I just checked an option accidentally that I can't find? I could REALLY do with some help on this as it's totally destroying the aesthetics of my level and driving me up the wall...

Is your level on versus mode ? In tools bag, one of the last pages... That could be it. Make it coop and it should disappear. If not, then IDK.2011-12-12 23:52:00

Even in coop mode it will be there, but it will only appear when score is updated on any player; after a few seconds it will disappear again.

If MM/Tarsier would make this something a creator can switch off, I'd have a great use for it.

But in versus mode I don't think it ever disappears, that's my point.
I did also think it was sad, not having the option. (I would like to build my own huds - not out of holo - but we can dream)

While dreaming, lets have an extra option in sticker panel that allows a player signal wired to it to determine to whom the material is visible. /ot

That's not what Salieri was writing about.

There's an issue where the score will be displayed regardless of what's happening, right from the start of the level until the end. Other people have reported it in the past.

Is there a way I can ensure that it is always present, but only after a certain point? I imagine using a score giver at 0 points may work.

I'd like it to remain hidden until I show the HUD, and then remain forever after that even when at 0 points (using it as cash).

SSTAGG1 : You can also make a feedback loops-based currency system instead and make a hologram HUD. This is more trouble, but it removes any HUD/sound problems.
(yeah, I know, I'm addicted to feedback loops ^^)

Player made currency systems are expensive to the thermo. Could make it selector based, but that means lots of wires for different costs. I'd rather just use the already present system MM gave us at no cost to the thermo.

When I can I'll just do some basic experiments to see what works.
