I actually don't really want anything at all, I might just ask for a ton of socks. Like a 100 pair pack, that sounds nice.

As you get older, you appreciate practical gifts more and more. Anyone else notice that?

I don't care what I'm getting. I'm giving my wife something cool though. Her mom passed away three years ago and her dad last year. Her mom had these old carrousel horses that she never did anything with. My wife wanted them and I groaned about it but went ahead and got them and they've been out in the barn ever since. I commissioned an artist friend of mine to paint the horses and each one is a memorial to her mom and dad. Her mom's has a portrait of her on it and painted with things that she liked and the same for her dad's. I can't wait for her to see them. My kids will get the obligatory toys that they'll only play with for a month and then lose interest in. My oldest one (15) has been wanted an Ipod touch for the longest, so she'll get that. Me, i'll probably get some shirts and socks, which I need anyway.2011-12-12 00:57:00

An Amazon GC and a book, thats it.

I was prepared to only get one game for Christmas, due to my dad having lost his job... so I had decided to save up my allowance and use it to buy my presents ahead of time. I did this for UC3, BF3, and LoZ:SS... but then my parents sprung a surprise gift - a debit card - and my dad got a job. I managed to get 3 games on Amazon on BF, and now instead of being stuck with no games with 1 out of tons to choose from... I have all the games I really wanted, and no idea what to get for Christmas. I figured I'd get the gift card for later, and appease my parents with a book.

Technically I'm also getting a Vita, but its only a Pre-Order from my Grandparents.

I stopped getting tons of gifts a few years ago. Now my christmas and birthday gifts are combined, so I got to pick out two games (Rayman Origins + Skyrim ). I also got a watch for my birthday when my grandma was in the state, but than again, my brother also got the same watch...and an iPad 2...even though it was my birthday, but that's fine I didn't really want an iPad 2 that much anyway...

Oh Me

My parents wanted a couple of books and a magazine subscription and when they asked me I said I'd like an umbrella since I don't have one. Some chocolate would be nice, too.2011-12-13 15:10:00

Steelseries Sensei mouse, Steelseries Siberia v2 headset, Razer BlackWidow keyboard - because PC gaming.

Other than that, I'm buying myself a second 6850 so that I have 2 in my PC, and a new PSU. Anything else is just a bonus.
