hi everyone! i used to be really into making LBP levels. none of them were very good but i joined this forum about the time LBP2 came out. i posted some threads about a couple of my levels, and people helped me make them better (i bet you can tell which ones). once LBP2 was out, i started many levels (about 10 if i recall) most of which were almost completely done, or at least ready for play testing. but then my ps3 died, i lost all my unuploaded levels, my saves for both LBP1&2, and all the level creating pieces that go with them...i was defeated, and i gave up. but over the past few weeks i've really wanted to make LBP levels again. a few of my level projects were so cool i can't stand to let them get that developed and never get uploaded. so i won't be posting levels for awhile, as i just started over on lbp1, but i figured i'd get back into the forums in the mean time. i remember this being an awesome community, i hope it still is

Welcome back. Sorry to hear of your troubles. Yes the community and it's members are still awesome. Enjoy and be sure when you do get ready to publish to post them in the "Level Showcase".

Welcome back! So sorry to hear about your PS3. Just make sure you make profile backups this time both on the PS3 as well as copying off to a USB thumb drive. I even take those and make incremental copies on my PC just for extra safety.

I second what jwwphotos said, back-ups are essential so every now and again back-up and send it to a USB stick. Welcomezzzzz to the site. Continue to enjoy the services at hand!

thanks everyone, i didn't expect to get any replies to an introduction thread. i'll definitely be making a habit of making back ups. i had no idea i could even do that until you guys said it xD i've already got tons of new level ideas in addition the the ones i lost! can't wait to get started!
