Levels being moved?
Archive: 20 posts
Yeah so some one move my levels, as far as I know they not got my PSN log info, Some guy with PSN Chemical-Reaper say he did why I don't know http://lbp.me/u/Chemical-Reaper | 2011-12-06 18:29:00 Author: jump_button Posts: 1014 |
Its a well known and common problem unfortunately: They don't need your details either to do it, but if you cover your levels with cockpit blisters and it will make the 'hackers' job harder. | 2011-12-06 18:35:00 Author: craigmond Posts: 2426 |

I wish I could tell you why people do things like that but I have no idea why they do. Sorry I couldn't help more. | 2011-12-06 19:19:00 Author: Lady_Luck__777 Posts: 3458 |

really I've not really been keeping up with things so first time I seen this :/ Discussed here: https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=62465 Someone can move your levels around using the sticker tool but as craigmond wrote you can block level badges being selected by placing decorations over them. | 2011-12-06 19:33:00 Author: Ayneh Posts: 2454 |
I actually keeping a eye on this reaper person, he been moving alot of levels including yours and steve_big_gus. I am not sure how he can do it but it scares me to think if they could copy the levels to there moon and edit them. | 2011-12-06 19:58:00 Author: The_Lil_JoKeR Posts: 745 |
This has only happened to me once, it was during lbpc4 and somebody moved my entry. Twice as bad considering I couldn't move it back due to being locked into the contest. Also, I have no proof to support this but I heard somewhere that the cockpit blister is not 100% safe... but as far as I can tell its still a pretty good protection method so I'm happy to recommend using it Regards Dave | 2011-12-06 20:18:00 Author: ForgottenEnigma Posts: 1414 |
Also, I have no proof to support this but I heard somewhere that the cockpit blister is not 100% safe... It's definitely not...my level patches have still been moved even with the deco in place...but it's enough of a deterrent that less people will choose to go to the trouble. I haven't looked at my earth in a while but I'm sure my level badges aren't where I left them. No one is copying levels or modifying them in any way...as Ayneh points out they are pushing them around using the sticker tool, you can try it yourself placing decos while editing your own earth. It's annoying but harmless. | 2011-12-06 20:33:00 Author: fullofwin Posts: 1214 |

In the long run I don't see a problem. If I go to some ones planet to see their stuff I will navigate around to look at their work. Normally I just use LBP.me to look at their published list. Usually its only done to well known creators but as I said; if someone is a great creator I'm going to explore their earth. I actually find it funny, it takes them AGES to nudge the level, and if you want you just move it back in two seconds. With the added bonus of it being republished, the result being potentially more exposure, they have probably hearted you so they will see you move it. They can then spend ages moving it again, but this time it has even more plays. | 2011-12-07 05:53:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
Well i just had that problem when my mmpick was on top after it fall problem gone. I don't want to coccon my levels like everyone do, it looks ugly and most people just panic to place them but in reality level moving is quite rare preceder whan you are not on cool pages or being frash mmpick | 2011-12-07 14:08:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |

I used to do something similar when I was a kid, moving fridge magnets around to make rude words. But moving levels...that's pretty awesome really. I wonder if he takes requests. | 2011-12-08 13:32:00 Author: Ungreth Posts: 2130 |

They moved one of mine. I felt like "somebody" for a bit! lol Seems this guy only moves levels for VIP creators, and doesn't extend the favour to common muck like me. I feel like such a faceless nobody now! | 2011-12-08 15:51:00 Author: Ungreth Posts: 2130 |
