Archive: 12 posts

Hey guys I have some news...
So have you guys ever seen Toy story 1, 2, and 3? Well some people might think this is bad.
So back in June, Tom hanks (Worker at Pixar) was asked, "will there be a Toy Story 4?"
Well guess what? He said YES! Well i'm excited. How about you guys?

I'd be happy to see a Toy Story 4 but due to false rumors that are so easily started and spread, it's hard to know what's true (not aimed at you).
Do you have a link to any sites that provide proof?

Oh I'd not be surprised at all there may be another one coming... in 3 to 4 years. (>.>)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

3 was the perfect ending. no more. I don't want to see anymore.

Don't get me wrong, I have utter faith in Pixar Studios. I dont think I've seen a single film or short of their that I didn't enjoy. But this franchise is over, and IMHO, it should stay that way.

I hope Mr Hanks was just a little tipsy or something...

I agree with Ria, no more! But I wouldn't be surprised to see another one. Disney will get every penny they can out of people. That's why Bambi has been "remastered" like 10 times and released over and over again as a "special" edition.2011-12-07 12:58:00

I agree. It's a miracle that they have already made three equally brilliant films in a single franchise, so I think they should quit on a high note rather than risk a "shadow of it's former self" sequel that puts a dampener on Toy Story's great legacy.

Meh, they're making lots of money out of it, you think they're gonna quit before they squeeze every last cent they can of a successful franchise?
They don't care if it ended perfectly, just if it made the expected amount of sales.

Following critical acclaim, an Oscar for Best Animated Feature and a global box office take of $1,063,171,911, "Toy Story 3" was beyond successful. Combine that gold with the film having ended with Woody and the gang getting a new, youthful owner, and a fourth film would seem a no brainer.

And according to Tom Hanks, it's already underway.

Pixar is all about the money, always has been. Them trying to turn their franchises into the animation equivalent of CoD should be expected.2011-12-30 01:04:00

No!!! I grew up with toy story 1 & 2 and toy story 3 absolutely was the perfect ending to the series.

If they do make this I'm afraid Pixar will make this fourth one directed more for kids (unlike toy story 3) and make a lame plot like cars 2.

Actually, they operate on a completely different philosophy. Why would you think they are all about money?

Just curious.
