Does anybody else own a pair of these? I just picked up a pair for Christmas and they look beautiful! http://www.beatsbydre.com/images/products/3808/glam_studio_green.png | 2011-12-01 03:10:00 Author: Unknown User |
My friend has a red pair of those. Those are great but when it comes to high quality, flat headphones at a great price, this is the phone to go for: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41TUyr4hmnL._SL500_AA300_.jpg Audio Technica's ATH-M50 My babies! <3<3<3 They literally get better the more you use them. Can buy them for 100-150$ on amazon. Sooooo worth it! | 2011-12-01 03:40:00 Author: comishguy67 Posts: 849 |
My favorite is pretty much a studio standard for several years. Sony MDR 7506 pro headphones for around $100. Used in many studios and live broadcasts. Great sound and true response. http://pro.sony.com/bbsc/imageController?path=Asset%20Hierarchy$Professiona l$SEL-yf-generic-153707$SEL-yf-generic-153749SEL-asset-70572.jpg&id=StepID$SEL-asset-70572&dimension=600x407 The newer versions seem to have the black and gold badge shown here, where the older ones have a blue badge. lol | 2011-12-01 03:50:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |
I use Sennheiser HD555s. They're comfy and sound nice. I think I've had them for 3 or 4 years now. | 2011-12-01 11:45:00 Author: Ayneh Posts: 2454 |
Beats are kind of overrated OP. All it does is make your song louder, that's it. If you somehow purchase the Beats audio program for your PC, then you'll see that you wasted money for almost nothing. It's basically forcing you to listen to music the way Dre intended you to listen. You cannot customize your sound, which is really disappointing considered that some genres of music are better when a certain setting is put on them. If you like good sound, then go for them. However, you can get the same sound from any other $100 headphones mentioned in this thread. The only difference is Beats allows you to brag to people by saying things like "LOL, still using those cheap Skull Candies?" to anybody (although you'll look very foolish in front of people who know about the headphones). | 2011-12-01 22:36:00 Author: CyberSora Posts: 5551 |
Bought myself some sennheiser 598's recently. They've have a lovely sound that blows the beats out of the water. Admittedly, they are no use for going out and about as they look a bit pretentious and they're open backed. But then, what portable device is a good enough audio source to waarant decent headphones anyway? http://www.divineaudio.co.uk/images/uploads/products/Sennheiser/sennheiser_HD_598.jpg | 2011-12-02 00:25:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |

Actually, I've been a proud Beats owner for a year now. I've gone from this... http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRjgIL1aJ5I7n5F1-LQDUBGIxvzY1-w_bHPz9DrssVcPdK0JfrI To this... http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQvV4vQSFoqw-nM65ZPZl6b8qyozwRGuv0R-0j8D5jpas3tI2n_EQ And when Christmas comes around, to those green ones in the original post, and I've NEVER been disappointed with the sound. | 2011-12-02 01:52:00 Author: Unknown User |

I also think Beats are overrated :/ For my part, I have Sennheiser HD 280 Pro and I've been very happy with them. http://www.dansdata.com/images/hd280/hd280_800.jpg | 2011-12-05 02:49:00 Author: Chump Posts: 1712 |
After trying Denon for the first time years ago I never felt like even looking at other brands. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2373996,00.asp | 2011-12-05 17:13:00 Author: BasketSnake Posts: 2391 |
