I'm able to load one of the levels I was working on (a much smaller, less complex one), but none of the three copies of the major level I spent weeks on is loading completely. It displays a white screen and that's it. I've let the system sit at that screen for a couple of hours now and I'm not seeing any improvement. I've tried it logged in and out of the PSN, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Does anyone have a workaround? I put so much effort into this level and it would have been a huge waste of time (and money, considering the cash I spent on DLC) if it was all for naught. I tried checking multiple forums but no one seems to be having the same problem.

Did it load prior to the latest patch? How much thermo does the level use? Can you backup the level? Does it say it's corrupted? Would reverting to your last profile backup lose too much progress?

I was able to back up the level without any errors but it still didn't allow me to load it after importing it to another location on My Moon. Would reverting to your last profile backup lose too much progress? I tried it but it doesn't seem to help :/

Well, from that it seems the patch is to blame. Nobody so far has reported the game hanging on the loading screen but it might be worth keeping an eye on threads like this (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=65550) and whichever other LBP forums you visited for the next couple of days. If you're prepared to delete your game data, essentially removing the patches, and your level loads I'd split it up into its component parts as much as possible - so when you redownload all the patches whatever is causing the problem will be isolated and you can recover hopefully most of your level. The game data is around 2GB at the moment which is a lot to have to download again, and you wouldn't be able to go online in LBP until you've downloaded and installed it all. For now it's probably best to sit on your hands and see what other people say.
