Update 1.09 has now been released and is 23MB in size. Additionally anybody who purchased the Munch Costume DLC earlier and hasn't been able to access their new content, should now be able to access the Munch Costume after installing the update.

arghgh, I knew I shouldn't have logged out. Oh well, at least it's only 23 megs, shouldn't take too long. Thanks! well, just tried to log in and first have to download the PS3 system update to ver. 4.0 (I think it said) It said it supports communication with the Vita system. A little early dontcha think Sony. Let me play my LBP! It's taking forever too.

@biorogue: Not too early actually. the vita is coming this holiday season to japa, and soon after to the rest of us. This update is just so that they can get everywhere at once. But yeah, intreguing update (does it do anything else?

For the PlayStation Update 4.0, you can also now change the language to UK English My assumption is that the LBP update is just a costume one; possibly Muppets and/or upcoming Odd World costumes.

update is just a plain DLC update... plus it broke the gravity of some hanging costumes parts like the big LBP2 scarf again... :/

One interesting addition in the PS3 4.0 update is you can now choose to allow only friend requests from 'friends of friends', as well as messages from 'friends only'. Some nice options for cutting down on the LBP message spam.

So, is the painting bug STILL not fixed? It's been at least two months since the move pack was released, and we still haven't got a fix!

Two months isn't that long when you consider they need to work out what caused it, isolate it, fix it, test to make sure it doesn't break anything else, test it again, then submit it to Sony to also test the patch bundle, and then put it for submission to the PS Store. It is annoying and has slowed my sticker creation. As you can't re-use creations in other work, But considering that you can just stick them (hopefully finished) on a microchip, it's not the end of the world.

Could someone tell me if this is new or not? I went into a new blank level in create mode, and then went straight into play mode. When I switched, it didn't ask me to save anything, and the level is still blank on My Moon.

Ok well on the sticker front I actually noticed one painting isn't corrupted anymore. Doubt it was intentional though. Everything else is still corrupted. There may have been more that were effected but I got into the habit of sending my stickers to a different account at that time. There's only one I am absolutely sure was corrupted and it works now.

Oohhhhh, the updates stack up.. I still haven't got the move pack update! It's huge! And with my skungy rural New Zealand broadband.......... We'll see if I'll ever be able to use LBP online ever again.

I'll never understand why companies are so secretive when listing the benefits provided in updates. Because there might be ton of small things that you wont understand if it was said direcly, besides MM provide this infomation if there anything importent other then DLC data on LBP offical site
