If it's DLC I hope it is
But whatever i really would like to see this, because it could be really useful.
I think there will be a pop-it-build expansion pack or something like that, at least i hope.

Hope we don't have to wait for another DLC pack to come along. It'd be nice if they just patched the game so everyone could use it, since it's clearly already in the game.2008-12-26 22:07:00

Me too. That could be really useful for creators like me.

I did this effect in my mini game / survival challange im doing. Your stationary in the same building so i figured i would jazz it up. I removed all lightning made it kind of dark. Made the classic hallowed out dark matter rectangle w/ the a piston pushing a block down it. And on the block I have a magnetic key.. and I have mag switches the same color as the key. The first switch is "day" its linked up to 3 lights i have floating above the players view attached to dark matter so they float. The second switch is "dusk" the third "night" I have the piston on a long cycle, so it goes day dusk night..night dusk day. Just have to tweak the radius's just right to get it to line up and get the right colors your after. Best i could come up w/ for this effect hope it helps!2008-12-26 22:56:00

I suspect something like Hamsalad described was what MM did. You can take all of the light out a level and have artifical lights that are large and have a variable amount of brightness. You can also move these lights around as well.

Think of it like lighting for a film set. How do you make a daylight scene when it's the middle of the night, or a night scene when it's the middle of the day? Simple. Artificial lights.

Elbee - They didn't use artificial lighting. In several levels you can see the global settings switch, and it must be that, because it looks like a globe.2008-12-27 03:37:00

Hopefully, you'll be able to tune Darkness too.
That'll be useful.
