Well i just found out today that there is another PSN account out there called LordWarBlade and the guy is also on YouTube. He just asked me the other day to remove lordwarblade from the titles of my vids as it was causeing issues with people not knowing who is who. This is all very annoying. I was pretty sure when i made my PSN account that i had typed in all the different ways to spell it including LorWarBlade just to make sure it was unique. Just thought i'd mention this so anyone who knows me dosen't comfuse me with this guy. And my Youtube account is LordMechavile his is lordwarblade for nnyone who had searched under lordwarblade.

Well its strange is it even possible to have lordwarblade and LordWarBlade as two PSN accounts i thought it needed more than a change in capitals to allow it to be made? The thing that got me most is that he had asked me if i had stolen his username and account. I don't see how thats even possible. The most annoying part is he wats me to take away anything that refers my vids on youtube from saying lordwarblade because people are confusing him with me. All he has to do is say no its a different lordwarblade. Put it this way its like if ComishGuy67 up there was to put somethng on youtube and ComiSGUY66 said please remove that as people think i'm you. These people annoy me. I mean i know there are loads of say Genocid's out there like Genocide100 Genocide01 and so on but i dont think its possible to have Genocide and genocide. I could be wrong though.

I thought it didn't work that way but seeing as it does its a little annoying as it makes it easy to confuse one person with another.

Are you sure it's not an Xbox Live ID? There's nothing stopping a PSN and Xbox ID from being the same. In which case, you could probably simply state that you are not LordWarBlade on Xbox 360/youtube on your videos.

Well he says hes on PSN but i have found an xBox live account with that exact name. For simplicity i'll just add in a link to my profile on the vids and take lordwarblade from the names for now. I am leaving it in the search tags though other wise people wont be able to find my vids.

Capitals alone aren't enough for it to make a separate PSN ID. He can't be LordWarBlade. Gotta be something more to his name. Numbers? I dunno. EDIT: Looked at his profile, and he says he's an Xbox 360 gamer...

Hmm well he told me over youtube that he had a PSN name of the same. I guess i will do what Gilgamesh said then and state that i am not the Xbox 360 lordwarblade. I don't use xbox anyway so i will never be lordwarblade on that.

That is odd. Before you go taking things down/changing things, I'd first check on who registered first. If you had the username first, I'd just tell him to get bent. A similar thing happened to me before. A friend of mine and I (And others) were participating in a little gaming tourney, and I was video'ing the replays of each match and sticking them on YT. In the titles and videos, I refered to everyone by their online username, not their YT username. One of the guys, had the same username elsewhere as some dude on YT. He found us and asked my friend to change it, but I declined, largely due to his attitude problem. An odd issue, and I'm not sure who really had the right to the name, TBQH.

Uh.. Number 1 rule of youtube: Say your First. That is, unless you created your youtube account after him, in which he has the rights to ask you to change your name/ video titles.

Well he had the YouTube account first so i can understand where hes coming from. As long as it dosent escalate then i'm happy right now. Edit: Ok he has changed his attitude and become quite polite all of a sudden his PSN name is LordWarBlade89 so i was the first on PSN. He is updating his profile on youtube so that people will know who is who and has asked me to do the same which i am happy to do. And he has stated that he dosent mind now if i keep lordwarblade in the search tags and refer to it as long as i can leave a description on my profile saying that i am not him and link to his Youtube profile. I do like people who can deal with these things friendly and calmly. For a minute i thought i was gonna have to fight for the right to my name but its all good now. nd thanks guys.
