Monkey Menace! Series

This is part one of my upcoming series "Monkey Menace!". I'm sorry it's a bit short, but I reached the end of the level, and ascending from the point I stopped at wouldn't really favor it. Anyway, it's about a baby monkey who falls from his home. He strays deeper into the jungle to look for a way back up. On the way, however, he stumbles across a poacher's truck. He doesn't pay much mind to it though, as the banana on top of it catches his eye. Bad move, monkey. I am aware that the banana doesn't give any score. I have no idea why. If anyone knows how to fix this, please do tell. Also, if you find any bugs, let me know. Sackbot checkpoints are prone to having random fits. This level looks great, and I am sure it has some great potential, and will play it again. I got stuck between bounce pads and got crushed on two play throughs, and the result was having to restart. I guess that you don't want any deaths in the level at this stage as it is still setting up the level. The lighting and springiness of the monkey are nicely do as was the costuming. Actually, everything was great, back tracking at the start was strange though. Seeing the frog suggests you want the player to go back at the start but there is a invisible wall slightly in front of what could be a natural block point. They do give out the points... but the score doesn't go to anyone... which is why they are black. I had a similar issue a long time ago. I just looked to see what I did to get around it, but I can remember. Make sure that the score giver is assigned to 'give score to player'... It should turn white. This is a really promising level! I really like the concept and the visuals. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. Most of the problems I have with this level can be attributed to this being a sort-of introduction level to a larger series. The level is very short, and the gameplay is also very insubstantial, consisting of just very basic platforming and grabbing bananas, although this is understandable for what is essentially a setup for the rest of the series. I would, however, recommend trying to find a way to make the gameplay more substantial (with some clever platforming and/or puzzle segments) and maybe increase the length. The score giving problem is a bit of an annoyance, but it's a fairly minor problem, as long as you fix it eventually Overall, it's a very good level, although is doesn't work brilliantly as a stand alone level.
