The name really says it all, but I think it would be amazing to be able to pull out an iphone/droid and check on the forums. Nothing really complicated, but a way to look at the forums and respond to posts without needing to try and get it to load on a mobile browser.

A good Idea, but it's been suggested so many times before and it would also cost money which the site doesn't have at the moment. However I'm sure its there somewhere in CC's mind.

Why couldn't they just get someone in the community to program it. It probably wouldn't be hard, it would just take a little bit of time to make and fix bugs.

I would make it if i knew objective C, but I don't, I do java. I might be able to get a friend to, but I don't think it would be worth it to learn objective C and pay the developers fee just for a LBPC app.

It simply isn't worth it. Especially considering how many would even use it. All things considered, it seems the simplest would be to access the site via a mobile browser or just wait till you get home. Poof.. already done.

Both LBPC and LBP.me run pretty well on mobile devices. LBP.me is actually set up perfectly for them and an app is pretty unecessary. I keep them both tabbed on my ipod all day and refresh them several times lol. Although I rarely post on LBPC from my ipod because of no spell check but I did just now

The only reason I'd want an LBP.me app is for auto login. I do 80% of my browsing on my iPhone and everything works great. Except for trying to queue stages, not a huge pain but it does mean I'm less likely to get back to a stage if I don't queue it.

maybe they could just make a very basic mobile site for LBPCentral, just get rid of most of the graphics and make the mobile site load faster.

Actually that has been suggested before, but the admins who would have to do all the work have stated they really don't have the time to do it. Sorry!

The background looks good and all, but that is one heck of a pain in the ***. The only solution is to zoom it in, and even that has its own consequences. EDIT: To create this mobile site, it would require a fee and the vBulletin service becomes avaliable for instant use. But as you said it would need some devotion. So in order for the site to change, we either need staff who can manage the pressure, and dip into their time to make this impossible-to-manage double shift, OR we could get some additional moderators who are experts in this area. Time for some recruiting me thinks.

The browse bar up the top is the only real 'problem' on an iPhone. If this bar were larger then that would be a bonus!

I would pay five bucks EACH for lbpc and lbp.me apps on itouch, maybe if we get enough people on the forum to donate money to the development we could get an lbpc app. I can would donate at least 5-10 dollars
