Archive: 48 posts
What? A Muppets pack? That?s right there will be a Muppets pack coming next week, November 29th/30th Muppets costume pack 1 will include: Kermit the Frog ? Fozzie Bear ? Dr. Bunsen Honeydew ? Beaker Muppets pack 1 implies that there will be more than 1 pack so stay tuned for more packs! I would also like to mention something about a possible level pack: I went to the Littlebigplanet Fan Meet in the Eurogamer Expo in Earl?s court, in Central London, met the true Gods of Creativity, Hi-fived Alex Evans, then a question came to me; ?Will there be any new DLC Coming soon?? He replied; ?We?ll be getting the Muppets Level kit and the a Costume pack to come with it?. You can check the images here : http://us.playstation.com/games-and-media/add-ons/littlebigplanet-2-the-muppets-costume-pack-1.html And now here is the images http://img803.imageshack.us/img803/3572/muppets.png (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/803/muppets.png/) | 2011-11-23 03:42:00 Author: psyntens Posts: 562 |
Wow that's pretty cool, thanks a bunch for posting this psyntens. Also Dr Bunsen's has no eyes! This will be handy. Isn't the movie released in cinemas today? | 2011-11-23 04:55:00 Author: Darkcloudrepeat Posts: 606 |

Muppets pack huh?... well I do like Muppets... the costumes do look fairly cute. (cries but why is Disney getting another level pack this soon if that part is true? I know Muppets did not use to be part of Disney long ago in the past... But still... man I really want a sonic the hedgehog level pack so hard... it's so unfair that they been making 2nd costume packs of games like killzone this year but they have not sonic yet. :I) | 2011-11-23 05:14:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |
Looks good. I hope Fozzie's hat is separate I need a hat like that. | 2011-11-23 05:30:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
oh forgot to say. a friend of mine already got this first costume pack today, because the store put them out for a hour or so by mistake before taking them back down for next week. xD *mew | 2011-11-23 05:35:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |
these characters were my favorites as a child, i grew up with them and remind them to be great having them in LBP YAAAAY!!! i love it | 2011-11-23 06:04:00 Author: Unknown User |
so gonzo is currently still exclusive (like clu) for now? Sounds fine | 2011-11-23 06:05:00 Author: a_mailbox Posts: 416 |
so gonzo is currently still exclusive (like clu) for now? Sounds fine As far as I'm aware, Gonzo is planned to be released in the 2nd Muppets Costume Pack. So I don't believe he will remain exclusive to the Collector's Edition/pre-orders. Muppets pack 1 implies that there will be more than 1 pack so stay tuned for more packs! Oh, I reckon there's a good chance that you'll see another couple of Muppet Costume Packs released and that poorly kept secret known as The Muppets Level Kit... | 2011-11-23 11:11:00 Author: StevenI Community Manager Posts: 420 |
It is about time I get something to go with the poor, lonely Gonzo. | 2011-11-23 12:54:00 Author: Undarivik Posts: 442 |
These costumes look cute. Hopefully, they're split up into an assortment of pieces, because if so,d efinitely some bits can be handy. I just wish Kermit wasn't an open face mask, and instead we got the actual skin and eyes :F could make for some good clown eyes or whatever. | 2011-11-23 14:19:00 Author: Dragonvarsity Posts: 5208 |
These all (except Kermit) look great! They all have there unique uses and I can't wait to see what Animal will look like. I especially like Beaker. | 2011-11-23 15:35:00 Author: craigmond Posts: 2426 |
Well it's about time! I remember them promising us full Muppet costume packs back when the CE was announced. So far, they don't dissapoint. I just wish they wouldn't make so many open-mouth costumes. | 2011-11-23 18:12:00 Author: Frinklebumper Posts: 941 |
I wonder stuff the level pack will have. Maybe we'll get ragdoll-puppets of the Muppets! | 2011-11-23 18:15:00 Author: lemurboy12 Posts: 842 |
Muppets? SOLD. | 2011-11-23 19:32:00 Author: talbot-trembler Posts: 1114 |
a level kit too? time to go get another PSN card. I do hope they put Animal in one of the costume packs, that'd be sweet. | 2011-11-24 00:58:00 Author: biorogue Posts: 8424 |

Hmmm in relation to a level pack I wonder what objects/materials/decos would be in it. Sure hope there is a Swedish chef level. Is there a rubber chicken object yet? Also... Say it with me... PIGS. IN. SPAAAAACE. | 2011-11-25 06:39:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
How could have I forgotten about Pigs in Space? That would really be cool. | 2011-11-25 07:04:00 Author: biorogue Posts: 8424 |
http://img803.imageshack.us/img803/3572/muppets.png I hope the no-eyes thing isn't part of the glasses, because that would be really useful on its own. | 2011-11-25 14:22:00 Author: Ayneh Posts: 2454 |

I'm a little confused, I thought this should be out by now? | 2011-12-03 06:54:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
I guess the level pack will have 7 levels, since when I hover on Story levels, the game says that I have 7 levels still to complete, while I completed everything and, at least until 1.07 it mentioned 0 levels to complete. | 2011-12-03 09:32:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
Hmmm in relation to a level pack I wonder what objects/materials/decos would be in it. Oh, I'm sure that the contents will be pretty awesome. I'm a little confused, I thought this should be out by now? Not quite yet, very soon though. I'd definitely be keeping an eye out for an official announcement anytime now. I guess the level pack will have 7 levels, since when I hover on Story levels, the game says that I have 7 levels still to complete, while I completed everything and, at least until 1.07 it mentioned 0 levels to complete. That message is actually telling you that you have 7 of the "More Stories" levels to complete, which is a menu function that became available with the 1.07 update. Specifically those 7 levels would actually be referring to the Creator Pack 1 and Pirates of the Caribbean Tutorial levels. Which unfortunately you cannot "complete" due to the nature of exiting via the Pause Menu instead of the more traditional Scoreboard. | 2011-12-03 11:09:00 Author: StevenI Community Manager Posts: 420 |

It drives me nuts... which I guess says a lot about my personality. | 2011-12-03 11:38:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |

Tired of the rumors...*pleads for StevenI to not kill me* There is no Muppets Level Pack/Kit/Mini Pack coming soon (well not without another patch at least) | 2011-12-05 05:56:00 Author: fodawim Posts: 363 |
there is no muppets level pack/kit/mini pack coming soon Don't ruin the dream! | 2011-12-05 16:42:00 Author: craigmond Posts: 2426 |
but it does seem unlikely they'd make more then one costume pack in a row for something like this and don't do any level pack. very possible the level pack is in another patch that we won't see for about another 2 weeks. *mew | 2011-12-05 16:54:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |
Tired of the rumors...*pleads for StevenI to not kill me* There is no Muppets Level Pack/Kit/Mini Pack coming soon (well not without another patch at least) Well it has to be said, your post is certainly the pinnacle of irony. There is indeed a Muppets Level Kit coming soon. It hasn't been patched in yet but who's to say that there's not another patch coming? Rather than jumping to assumptions by looking into the game's patch data, it may be an idea to just wait for Sony and Media Molecule to officially announce the whole collection of Muppets DLC that we'll be seeing in the very near future. | 2011-12-05 17:23:00 Author: StevenI Community Manager Posts: 420 |

And that's how you get someone to confirm something that hasn't been "officially" confirmed Confirm what, exactly? Ever since SCEA accidentally released Muppets Costume Pack 1, coupled with Alex Evan's own admission at the EuroGamer Expo that there's a Muppets Level Kit coming... I've certainly made no efforts to deny that the Muppets DLC is coming soon. | 2011-12-06 00:30:00 Author: StevenI Community Manager Posts: 420 |
ok, i'm confused. why does a patch in any way indicate a level kit? | 2011-12-06 10:08:00 Author: GribbleGrunger Posts: 3910 |
ok, i'm confused. why does a patch in any way indicate a level kit? Before DLC can be released for LittleBigPlanet 2, it would require a patch to update the game to include the DLC's new content. However not all patches contain Level Kits, so you're quite right in stating that a patch most certainly does not indicate that a level kit is coming soon. In this particular case though, we already know that the Muppets Level Kit is coming, so a patch is expected to update the game to include the new Level Kit. Normally this is something that would go by and no-one would notice any difference in the patches, with the possible exception of any that particularly large in filesize. For some reason though, fodawin felt the need to tell people that after cracking open the patch, he could find no evidence of a Level Kit. These actions are actully against the terms of service of downloading any update data and isn't really something that anybody should be doing in the first place. So for obvious reasons, I cannot tell you how exactly somebody would go about cracking open a patch and looking into its contents. Anyway with all that said, it's just simply the case that it hasn't been patched into the game quite yet and therefore will require another patch to update the game to include the Level Kit. Just because the Muppets Level Kit was not contained in the most recent patch is no reason to believe that the Level Kit is not on its way, so I personally wouldn't pay much attention to fodawin when he states that no Muppets Level Kit is coming soon. | 2011-12-06 10:54:00 Author: StevenI Community Manager Posts: 420 |
Muppets rock! As for any costumes or level pack,I doubt it will be this week, then again they have fooled me before. I have my fingers crossed for the level pack..I could really use some muppet themed items. | 2011-12-06 15:52:00 Author: Psycojimi Posts: 25 |

Hmm! There sure seem to be a lot of goodies lined up for the 7th of December! (http://www.littlebigplanet.com/en/game_guide/ps3/downloadable_content/) Looks like the invisible eyes aren't seperate from the glasses for Dr Bunsen. http://www.littlebigplanet.com/en/game_guide/ps3/downloadable_content/dr._bunsen_honeydew_costume/ Too bad, I would have bought it otherwise. | 2011-12-06 18:08:00 Author: Ayneh Posts: 2454 |
Just because it fun to complain on the internet; Fozzie's hat and ears are also connected it seems. Still, its a good kit and a promise of things to come! | 2011-12-06 19:51:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |

You could tell from patch size alone...any patch with a level kit is more than 30MB at minimum (guessing cause well ya know patch data for LBP1 is gone off the LBP site), just because of the amount of data. | 2011-12-06 22:35:00 Author: fodawim Posts: 363 |
