Spry Jumps

I'm proud to show you my first level for the world of littlebiplanet!
Go To Spry Jumps (http://lbp.me/v/y0y-w8)

Essentially, this is a race level that I'm making with my own style, colors and fantasy.
It's made to be colorfull, funny and without complex platforms or logics, just to be quick and immediate,
But I took much time to complete the visuals with decorations and small details.

I developed the level while I was learning new things about the editor, because I only own lbp2.
You could see differences in gameplay, but I continuously updated it to be funny and not frustrating.

UPDATE:
I just started playing LBP1 to collect some objects and materials to use on my levels, so you will see me a little less because of that.
I'm adding new details and decorations to the level but I'm having some troubles with full thermo and emitters, but I will do the possible to make it even better!
Small note for the Feedback4Feedback.
Nowadays I have few time to play the game and go to the forum, but I will try to do it as soon as I can in the evening, or the day after. I don't have may friends that play LBP, so your help would be greatly appreciated!

Left a review in game. Thought it was well designed and fun. A scoreboard lovers dream.

As I mentioned, the flaming log didn't really seem to fit the theme.

I guess if I were to try and think of any nitpicks, it would be that the level feels safe. There isn't anything that truly makes it stand out from other well designed bounce pad levels. Try to be daring in your level design. Try to consider, what will make this level something people haven't seen many times before.

You have the talent, now, just add in a dash of daring and I think we will see something really fantastic from you.

Good luck on your future creations.

Thanks for playing my level! Here's me returning the favour. I'm writing this as I paly it, so bear with me. Also not looking at my computer screen, so there'll no doubt be a ton of typos xD

Into looks good, very nice with the lighting. It's very faced paced, I'm having to pause it to type this. The gear goes all the way tot he top and gets stuck, which is a little confusing, perhaps have it stop before the ceiling. A couple of the bounce pads on the way to the 'outside' bit didn't work exactly as expected. Grabbing onto the spinning gears was fun, though it wasn't obvious they were grabbable, perhaps stick an R1 sticker somewhere in that area so people know. The area with the bouncepads moving up and down with the glass was very bright, I felt like I was going to get a headache slightly.

Bit with the fireball was also very bright.

Finished in 3:36, that's a very nifty feature you have there.

The fast paced nature of the level made it hard for me to give feedback as I usually do, but there was a lot of fun, quality gameplay ideas here,a nd the visuals looked great too. Just tone done the brightness in some areas if you had to improve something. A heart and a happy face from me, well done.

You are absolutly right about the flaming log, I had the same feeling when I was trying to create it and thinking to use it on another level.
I wasn't able to add bubbles on that part, but I liked it so I decided to keep it.

But Thank you very much for your considerations,
they are really useful for me because they are promising, and I believe that I can do more because this was like a test for me, my first level for the world of littlebigplanet, even if on a long time development.

Thank you for the feedback, I will consider them for the next version, and try to improve the lightning!

I really enjoyed this level this level. The visuals are fantastic and the gameplay is really fun. The only real complaints I have are nitpicks:

On the bit with the spinning cogs, maybe you should make the bounce pads on the ground more clearly visible, possibly by making the camera tilted slightly down.
The bit at the end with the fire circle felt a bit cheap, especially when it bounced in the air and reappeared a second after.

I honestly don't have anything else to say. This is a great level. I hearted it.
