Now what im wondering is when will we get this?...This was ask for in LBP1 but never got it unfortunately :/ So I am just wondering when will we get it in LBP2? Now the current pop it colors are just well annoying to look at imo I went through all the colors but I just wouldn't mind making your own. .......What are your thoughts?

I don't think we'll be getting this at all, to be totally honest. But it would totally kick butt if we did get something similar to this.
Hell, I'd settle for text bubbles without stupid colour schemes. Honestly, what tool thought white text in a pale grey bubble was a clever idea?

I'd be quite happy, even if we got to pick the 2 main colours, using the same colour chart thing we get for lights and stuff. And maybe a 3rd option for text colour, I guess.

I believe the three color squares down there is something designers place down as a color reference for other people, only to show the primary colors they used. (Say the designer of the concept art shows this to a programmer, the programmer could quickly get the color code of the little squares and program it into the game, rather than creating color based off the inaccurate gradients of the main design.)

Custom pop-it colors would be a very welcome feature though...

Thank goodness they didn't go with that last set up... It looks rather annoying.. You guys should remember that player colir affects much more than just the popit. It determins menu colors as well as the pause screen. Quite a few of them make it hard to read the text though.. and the hues in the menus don't even seem to reflect the color you choose.. Custom popits would be awesome. Especially if you could pick all three colirs.2011-11-24 02:48:00

I wish we did have this, personally I don't like any of the LBP2 popit colours, I really liked the purple and navy one in LBP.2011-11-24 03:04:00

I only use the brown popit in LBP2 because it makes text clear and isn't too bright like the others are.

It would be cool to be able to choose our own popit colours.

I personally like using Tennis Elbow, I wouldn't change to anything else even if we did get fully customisable popits.2011-11-24 20:23:00

The three colours below are part of that popit colour, any given popit colour is comprised of a multiple colour palette. As you can see on the background of the tweak menu, the green is at the top and it gradients into the blue. The green is also used for the outlines. But in the background colour of the menu there is transparency so the colours appear more dull. Then the turquoise is used for the highlighted parts of the menu.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with custom popit colours. I'm guessing it's there as a reference for whoever else is dealing with the concept art. Those are the true colours in their purest form and with many photo editing software you can get the hex value of a colour via colour detection tools. Could be useful for programmers as I'm guessing the popit is mostly generated via code. Apart from the icons that is.
