You know who you are. Stop it. Just stop it.

Over 1600 bans have so far been given out to those who cheat at Modern Warfare 3.

Infinity Ward creative strategist, Robert Bowling, released the news via Twitter. He said that the bans are a response to "Any attempt to cheat, hack, or glitch" the game. He also confirmed that updates to eliminate some of the glitches being exploited were in the works, and encouraged members of the community to identify offenders using the post-match report function.

These reports are sent directly to Infinity Ward's security team who, Bowling said, "verify reports with in-game stats, in-game video recordings, and other data to verify you were cheating." The bans are then tailored accordingly. "Every ban [is] unique to the level of *asterisk*iness of the offense," Bowling said. "The greater the * asterisk* the greater the length. Perma*asterisk* possible."

Have you witnessed MW3 cheats in action? Have they prospered?

Screw the rumors -- here are facts.

After weeks of speculation, the Jak and Daxter Collection is officially official. Developer Naughty Dog Co-President Evan Wells stopped by the PlayStation Blog to confirm that the collection will hit this February and include Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II and Jak 3.

While Naughty Dog itself won't be working on the collection -- the developer made the original games but Mass Media will handle porting them -- you can expect the typical PS3 collection standards. The Jak and Daxter Collection will be in HD (720p), support 3D and include Trophies.

IGN's own Colin Moriarty speculated that the Jak and Daxter Collection could signal the long-rumored return of the duo in Jak 4, but Wells makes no mention of that in his post -- although he does point out that the franchise's 10th anniversary is coming on December 4th. Keep it on IGN as Jak and Daxter news comes down the line.

Where is Blizzard up to with a console version of Diablo 3? Project director Jay Wilson offers up the latest news...

Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Diablo III are inching toward reality. With Blizzard filling out its development team, the company has been talking about its ambitions for the project.

The PC version of the game is set to release early in 2012. A console version has been long touted, but never officially announced. But the company has been hiring for just such a project, with Joshua Mosquiera, former creative director at Ubisoft, taking the lead.

In an interview with Game Informer magazine, Diablo III director Jay Wilson said, "We don't want to port it. We want to build it for console. There's a key difference. Certainly, a lot of things get brought over, but a port is trying to take a PC game and graft it onto a console.

"Our goal is to make a game that feels like it's natively made made for a console. If we make it, we want it to feel like a Blizzard game and that we built it for that platform from the ground up."

He added, "We are still in active exploring mode. We haven't officially announced a product. We like our product announcements to be a big deal. We haven't been as secretive about this one because our biggest barrier is actually getting a console team."
