This level was based off a vived lucid dream i experienced and it plays and feels just like a dream. Just something fun I built as a break from working on my upcoming Children of the Echo 2: Valley of the Owl. Will Return ALL FEEDBACK. http://lbp.me/v/7t6pxz Pics: http://i44.tinypic.com/1ig1ht.jpg http://i40.tinypic.com/wcb6ed.jpg http://i40.tinypic.com/lzk2b.jpg http://i40.tinypic.com/207l5i9.jpg | 2011-11-15 03:24:00 Author: drei Posts: 158 |
It was a really weird level but in a good way. My favorite parts had to be the music and those creatures you made. Wow, not only did they look fantastic but they moved in a really realistic way, you don't see that often in Lbp2 so I really enjoyed that. My only suggestion would be to put in a level background. The current one gives the level a bit of an unfinished look to it. Overall, great job. | 2011-11-15 23:15:00 Author: TheFirstAvenger Posts: 787 |

Hi there! Thanks for playing my level, here's e returning the F4F. I'm writing this as I play the level, so bear with me I retunred to the pod as soon as I got the key, I'm not fond on intro movies (nothing personal, just in general). Level looks..interesting so far. Oooh, I recognize this tune! Love the effect of the destoyed red platformy bit. Upside-dwon anchors, awesome. Used the grappling hook to get tot the underside of the platform for the bubbles, nice idea. The boucnepad was a bit annoying, I kept falling and having to all the way back around. On the big fish-whale thing. I'd add a background here, it was hard to tell if it was moving backwards or forewards (I presume it moved backwards?). The rhino is excellent, well done. Is the music ment to have stopped? It finished and never restarted. Windmills also look fantastic, good job again. On another big fish thing. As I went around the gear a character said something to me but I wasn't able to read it. Warped and got a random speech about a war. Oooh, plane! This whole cutscene is againa wesome, well done. Octopus-whale thing!? Up the tortoise and through the level link. Walkeing along...and it's finished? Um, ok then. Overall, a very good level. I love the visuals especially. however, there seems to be a bit too much wnadering and not enough gameplay in some areas, and the ending is very abrupt. However, it still gets a heart and a happy face from me, well done | 2011-11-22 19:40:00 Author: kirbyman62 Posts: 1893 |
That is one weird-looking level, but it has nice visuals. VISUALS: The opening movie is well told in story. The rest of the levels has some very good visual ideas, especially those weird flying walruses. Speaking of the walruses, one of them has a visible tool. I think the background of this level could use some improves. SOUND: The beginning and end of this level has a great remake of one of the musics from "Zelda: Twilight Palace," and the other custom music fitted well in this level. GAMEPLAY: The gameplay of this level is pretty decent. It needs better innovation, but there are some good ideas like grabbing the flying walruses with the grappling hook. OVERALL: Despite the mixed results of the gameplay, the level has a weird yet satisfying visuals. A yay. F4F Cybernetic Adventures Sigma | 2011-11-24 00:34:00 Author: JustinArt Posts: 1314 |
Hey Drei, just played your surrealistic & strange level. Nice intro to the fevre dream. Great scenery, loved the floating anchors, flying whales, and that gigantic turtle carrying the world tree. Interesting stuff, reminding me of Nausicaa and Hellboy visiting Africa ("Anung un rama"). As was mentioned earlier: the ending is somewhat abrupt. I could have explored your dreamscape somewhat more. Still: good job. I'd like to see more off this stuff. | 2011-11-25 18:58:00 Author: pickled-punk Posts: 598 |
A rare level that has an original artistic vibe, something that should be held in high regard among all the generic levels flooding the servers. The intro movie was somewhat sparse and abstract though the narrative was a compelling lead into the level itself. The dream-like surrealistic visuals and vague slightly undirected gameplay was really interesting. Abstract and poetic, certaily leftfield of most levels which makes it even more unique. Hearted.
