I just played Bearry Button's Mansion, and loved every minute of it.

Your imagination is even evident in the level Title, which is very clever. I enjoyed the challenge of the platforming sections you built. They were not too tough, but did require focus and great timing to get through them.

Bravo on your latest creation. And much success with the LBP community.

This was a really great level. The visuals are breathtaking and unlike any I've seen in the game. The stickers and materials all blended perfectly to create a really unique visual feast.

But the visuals are just the start, underneath it all sits some well thought out combination of gameplay sections that flow perfectly together. A few parts are tough, but nothing too hard that interrupts the fun factor.

Definitely recommend others play!

Fantastic work. A really uniquely designed level, with pleasant lighting to really accent and cast a relaxing atmosphere in a fun platformer.

The obstacles got progressively trickier, but never impossible..

I thought it was great all the way around. Only thing that might have really just added that final touch would have been some custom music.

Nicely done. I look forward to your next project.

This is a very intriguing level.

VISUALS:
The level design looks great. It's filled with great objects, materials, sticker and decoration usage that fitted well in this level's theme.

SOUND:
Good music choice for this level.

GAMEPLAY:
The grabbing obstacles are a blast. This level also has great use of grappling hook and grabinator. I think this level is more like Medium-hard difficulty than easy-medium difficult because most obstacles seems to be too challenging to be an easy-medium difficulty.

OVERALL:
An exhilarating level with polished visuals and outstanding gameplay. A yay, heart, and positive feedback.

hi thx justinart for your your rate and the positiv feedback
mhh i think the difficult is a matter of taste for some people is it easy-medium and for someone medium-hard it depends on the skills from the player
anyway thanks for everything and your level is queued

This level looked beary interesting, when I was reading through this thread earlier in the week. Let's just say I was beary excited to getting around to playing it. And i was pleased to find out that the level is very good.

+ If you spend just a few seconds browsing through my post history, you'll find the following to be true: I love well made platforming levels. To reiterate this point, I believe that (for whatever) reason, the community has tried to the best of it's ability to make everything in LBP except for LBP did best in the first place. Layer utilizing, floaty, jumptastic, colorful, platforming levels. The unique style of LBP. And . . . well look! It appears that Beary's mansion has ALL of these things in spades. Colorful, clever, spades.

+ The pacing was very well handled, the constant build of difficulty was much appreciated. Pacing is a common gripe among LBP levels for me. I appreciate being eased into something and gettting more and more comfortable. It's a "No tongue on the first date" kind of thing. Or I suppose a "No volatile squid monsters in the first checkpoint." would be appropriate. Either way;l I never felt like raging at you, as the creator. I never felt unprepared, so when I missed a jump, I felt like it was my fault. This is the mark of good pacing.

-The only problem I had with it was the camera angles in a few sections(*cough* winch-balls. *cough*) was unfortunately angled for judging upcoming obstacles. This, of course, made said sections needlessly difficult.

A heart. yay, and glowing review for you good sir.

about the camera angels i guess it was my fault cuz me and my leveltesters we knew the upcomming obstacle above us especially at the winch balls part so we didnt saw the probleme but thanks ill take a look and ill do it better

I'll re-iterate my in game comment, there was something about the way you put this together that I really really liked, there's a whole load of pop in the visuals without feeling cluttered, you have a really great eye for design if this is anything to go on. Gameplay was great, theme was great, and you blended them with style, and especially impressive if this is only your second level. Looking forward to your next : )2011-11-19 14:43:00
