LBP2 Framerate

Archive: 4 posts

So my friend is working on his 'special project' which may be one of the coolest thing's I've ever helped with... And a question rose up...

What is the LBP2 frame rate when there is no lag? We're using counters for a scoring system (Yes there are better ways but this works for him) and we need to know how long the re-load time needs to be in order for signals to not cancel out. The highest thing we have only takes 10 frames... But I want to make sure we don't override signals for new ones.

each simulation frame is 1/30th of a second, so 30 frames per second.

This is why a pulse (1/30 of a second) will fill a timer set to .1 seconds a third of the way up.

1/30 = 1/3 of 1/10.

Thanks! That gives us the perfect amount of time we needed.2011-11-11 05:21:00

In case you are in need of counting two or more consequetive signals, check out my buffering tutorial (link in sig). I use that for a score system myself.2011-11-14 12:59:00
