Black and White 2 Style Level (RTS)

I am already knee deep in my "Dimentia" project, but Black and White 2 is one of my favourite games of all time, so I thought I might pay my respects

Anyways, in the game, you are gods hand. You have to watch over a few villagers that were survivors of an attack by the Aztec army. By turning these few people into builders, farmers, reproducers, soldiers etc, you must somehow defeat all of the villiages/cities around you, either by destroying them with armys you've created from your people, or with your own godlike powers. Or you could build up a city so big, all of the other cities migrate to yours. The game focuses around the player choosing either to be a good or evil god, good acts (defeat by impressive city, keeping villagers safe, etc) make your villagers praise and worship you, while evil acts (war, sacrifice, murder, etc) make your villagers frightened of you. Your alignment will change the appearance of you and your shrine.

I would be working on logic, like the hand, grabbing people, throwing rocks, grabbing bulk loads of material, like stone or wood.

But do you all think it is worth making? Let me know if you like the idea or if you are interested in helping!

Thanks, I made an edit of all that stuff. And yes, it would have to be top down. If it is top-down, it has to be done right, though. This would also be my first experience with top down .2011-11-08 15:43:00

intruging and I always had a thin g for games that put you in compete control...you know I GO THE POWER

but making a top down system in LBP2 is really simple and there are plenty of tutorials around , I would help but I cant now

I have a top down system, Its just the limitaion of design, but I have started making a temple building, and it uses an analog signal to see how far along being built it is

0-10% - just a dirt patch on the ground
11-30% - Wood frame
31-65% - Partial Roof/Wall w/ Wood Frame
65-99% - Staircase included, Complete structure with frame still intact
100% - Pathway created, Wood frame removed

It looks Pretty good imo
