We need better explosions.

Have you ever wanted to make something- Let's say for example a creeper from Minecraft- that blows up, but kills you? The only way to do this correctly is adding small trigger explosives, which gets quite annoying. There should be some sort of switch that makes an object explode, yet kill the player.

While I'm on the topic, there should also be logic that, when activated, it kills the player/all players no matter where he/they is/are by whatever you choose: Electrify, Burn, or "mario death".

Why would you want to kill us with explosions you sick person? D:

While I agree that it would be nice to have a kill player option as a logic input, you could likely make a workaround that's relatively effective in doing the same thing.

Just have a piece of Hologram with a danger tweaker on it, and a tag sensor as the input to the danger tweaker. Have the Holo set to follow the player, with a very large trigger radius and a very high speed. When you want to kill the player(s), simply enable the tag (that starts the danger tweaker) for about one second (or alternatively, you could modify the danger tweaker circuit so it stays on for a second on its own).

I haven't tested this, but I imagine that, everytime it kills the player it was following, it will then kill the next one, and the next one, and so on, until either the tag is disabled or time runs up. Of course, not all players would die at once, but rather one after another, but hopefully it would still happen fast enough for it to look decent.

The main idea of this thread is that he wants an easier way to do this and not all this complex or confusing logic. I say make the Minecraft creeper explode something, then you use the Destroyer2011-12-16 01:38:00
