So the nominees for the VGA GOTY has just been announced. Here they are: Uncharted 3 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Batman: Arkham City The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Portal 2 Follow this link to vote: http://www.spike.com/events/video-game-awards-2011-nominees/voting/game-of-the-year I personally hate the VGA's because of all unrelated stuff they throw in, such as guest celebrities, musicians (Stupid MCR -.-), comedians and lots lots more that totally shouldn't be in a gaming award show. Also, why can WE, the gamers, who has absolutely (at least 99% of us) no experience playing either Skyrim or Skyward Sword vote for games that isn't even out yet? Yeah, I think it sucks.

Seems like every year i hear about the VGA they do something stupid thats embarrasing to the real gamers. I must've watched maybe 15minutes of the very first one as they talked about guest stars and awful nominations and immediatly gave up on them. But now they are nominating games that aren't even out yet?! Geez i thought they couldn't get worse! No wait i already know, Skyrim is going to win because it is multiplatform and not out (no offense Elder Scrolls players)

Some games are so good they are nominated before they're released! Or so says the briefcase that friendly man from Bethesda seems to have accidentally left lying around the SPIKE TV offices. Edit: I've already finished Batman: AC and Uncharted 3 and for me it's really tough to decide which one I like the most. They're completely different games with different styles and structure. I like Batman more as a deep and expansive experience but if it boils down to fun I'd go with Uncharted.

Portal 2 Without a doubt in my mind. Nothing will ever top Portal 2 immersive storyline and unique gameplay expeirience. I admit I cried at the end.... And im not ashamed of it
