USB Headset Problem

Archive: 6 posts

I have a "Plantronics .Audio 626 DSP" Headset and I'm trying to get it to work with my PS3, as in, I'd like to be able to hear in-game sound come out of it.

I've googled it and all I see is that "any USB headset will work" and that "you have to change the settings for it". So I have changed the settings and I've done what I think I could but still I don't hear anything coming out of it at all, nor will the mic on it work.

Also, the headset works with the computer just fine, and the mic too. The headset also makes a little "blip" noise when turning the PS3 on or off, so it has some kind of connection to it.

With mine I have to turn on the head set, go to settings, USB Headset Config,Input device (Triangle) Connect. Then I get a confirmation beep.2011-11-04 00:29:00

I have a similar headset, maybe the same, mine can only be synched to one device at a time. You might have to un-pair it from your computer.2011-11-04 03:35:00

Sorry for no reply, I kinda forgot about the problem (it isn't exactly a big concern, just really an annoyance).

Yes, I did, but to no avail.

I don't think I saw such a setting, I'll have to look again.

It only has one USB cord and was not plugged into anything else.

Same with mine, but for instance: if it's been pared with the cell phone, you have to un-pair it through the cell phone's settings before the PS3 will recognize the headset.2011-11-13 04:49:00
