Last night all 5 were purchased in about 5 minutes after the store went live, so only the really dedicated got a shot. I figure by the time the adjustments are made then the sale will end, and even so the system might make a mistake and give me 500 XP back rather than the 1000 XP I paid. Ah well, I'll be okay. It only took me a month or two to get the first thousand XP. The main reason I wanted to upgrade was to increase the PM limit.
