Patch help

Archive: 8 posts

My Slim PS3 downloaded LBP2 Patch 1.07 perfectly, but I need to make a level on my fat because my fat has all my LBP2 objects.
But when I try to download 1.07 on my fat, it hardly gets past 0%. It's not my Internet because my Slim downloads things perfectly.
Is there a way I can bypass the patch on my fat since it won't download? There was a DNS bypass once that got patched, and EliteMossy may break your connection, and I can't find Resistance: Fall of Man in any stores. I only want to bypass it to make and publish a level.

I have a both a slim and a fat PS3 and am now also trying to update the fat, it knows I need 1.08, but has to update to 1.06 and 1.07 first so it says 560mb all up but it is kicking along fine...

Nowhere in my area sells Storage Media.

Delete all of your LBP data off of both PS3s and start again.

If this sounds terrible, then find some place that sells storage media, even my local supermarket sells 2GB thumb drive.

Asking about bypassing a patch to publish something sounds like a lot of effort versus just using a USB key. Especially with added benefit of having all of your content backed up. It's also cheaper than buying R:FoM from a store, which might also sell USB keys?

EDIT: My fat PS3 just updated fine, maybe the server was overloaded when you tried?

You can also use an mp3 player, digital camera, or any other device that you can connect via USB to your computer and browse the drive. I've even used my nook e-reader to transfer photos from the PS3 when I couldn't find my USB key.2011-11-02 07:43:00
