Fps healthbar?

Archive: 4 posts

Ive seen silverscorps tutorial, and ive made a healthbar from it, it works if your getting hit by a bullet 1 at a time like a FAL, but it doesnt work as if you were getting hit by an ak-47, how can i go about fixing this?2011-10-30 19:01:00

I'm not sure if you've solved this by now, and tbh i'm surprised no-one's written back to you, but if you're talking about adding multiple hit signals to take off an overall total from a healthbar, let me direct you to a good tutorial or two:

Although this was strangely worded.. It sounds like a tag issue.. If something has a tag sensor or tag based impact sensor it may read the tag as "always on" if the tags are being activated too rapidly, depending on how you have the heath set up..2011-11-08 04:27:00

Exactly. And if you want advanced health system (based on the feedback loops video rainbowtipsfort gave you), I made a toolkit to build them easily. Link in signature. (and yet another one I give this link... that must be the 20th in a week lol)

But my system still has this same problem. I posted a tutorial in the tutorial section 2 days ago, which says how that system works and which also says (hum, I still have a problem with dealing multiple times the same hit). I will soon build a system with tag sensors (or do impact sensors have a "number of tags" setting?) counting the amount of projectiles.

For now you can make your weapons shoot bullets with different tags ak47_bullet (red), ak47_bullet (blue) and ak47_bullet (green) which would do the same amount of damage but use a different damage input. Mmmm....
